I think, I believe, and I would so exhort you my friends, that in order to persuade MV, Bateman, themudking, et al to push that Golden Ticket that we, as a community, should extend MV's resources by doing our utmost.  Donate.  I just popped in my donation; if we all do some part of this and give Mike the resources to make this play then, perhaps, MV could be persuaded to extend the hand of partnership to Art.

Unfortunately Art is back to square one.

He just lost his vehicle to return and unless some white knight that he can trust comes along to hold his hand, or as a good friend of mine so eloquently put, cup his balls through the process then I think the enormity of having to start the whole thing from scratch will be too great. I think this is truly the end of an era.

Assuming Art comes back, KGRA is a perfect venue for him.  No disrespect to MV, but the programming and infrastructure are already in place there, the station broadcasts paranormal programs 24/7 and features several established, respected hosts.

that's what i think inherently stinks though about an "all xyz genre all the time" stream.  i think a variety of different programming is a good thing.  just a matter of preference, but that's my thought.

btw... i spent the last few days building a new gabcast stream server and it's up and running as of about 20 minutes ago.  please tune in and let me know how you think it sounds (assuming you like abba).  link.

Ok, here's a question:

How was DMRN being paid for?  How much did it cost, and was Art funding it completely?  I recall hearing a few test ads, but for the most part it was ad free.  If Art was funding it, can Keith even keep in running and would Keith even care to?  If Keith really was a friend to Art, maybe he's hurting right now, I know when I lose a friend over a princple, it freaking hurts, not as bad as divorce, but it hurts. 

DMRN wasn't quite making it anyways, Jimmy Church and many of the other hosts don't know how to NOT approve of guests assertions while at the same time goad them on to keep entertaining us.  Art questioned veracity frequently, but always provided guests a chance, while questioning them.  Church is out of his league, he is a child, doesn't know how to do this, or he'd have already been doing it.

I finally found a progressive streaming cast, it's a little extreme to the left for me, but that's still better than Alex Jone's acolytes.  Art deserves, as has just been stated, a stream with a variety of GOOD programming, and not a bunch of Art wannabees.  Funny how so few people can get past their own fat egoes and yearning to be "big" rather than "support" something first.  Jimmy Church has a "big shot complex".  I know someone in my own life with that complex, associating with famous movers and shakers so he can feel important.  Personally, they all sit and shit just like me, so I no longer have a big shot complex.  I'd rather be part of a good collaborative team than a lone wolf teen hero, IYKWIM...

As far as Church goes: what goes around, comes around, he'll get his, enough of us here who would normally be his "core/Corps" now hate the guy.  Even Noory took time to hate, with Jimmy it didn't take much time at all.  He has no class, he's a Monika Lewinski (spelling here?)

When Church was on last night he told George he was 'going to let his hair down' on Sunday, which didn't seem to go over very well.  What did he mean by that?  I think that supports my hypothesis that he has something up his sleeve.

You know, guys, I appreciate Art being pissed off about Snoory "poaching" a DMRN host, but when Art came on XM and had guests, many of those guests are regulars on Coast (though back from his good old days).  Poaching is a relative term.

If Art could have controlled himself and not been so mercurial, he could have taken advantage of Church's defection in some smart manner.  I'm a fan of the TV series Game of Thrones.  I've spent the last 56 years of my life reacting to other people game playing rather than being smart and using it to my own advantage.  That show has been a wake up call for me to realize that there are very few true "white hat" cowboys out there today, it's all gamesmanship.  Art should keep his cool and out-game these people...

I am sort of concerned as to how artbell.com was 'taken down'... I cannot comprehend the reasoning it has already been placed into what seems to be a for sale structure.. I don't get it it.. art has "parked" his site. i imagine there is no more code there and the passwords have been changed. i imagine it artbell.com will be back when art finds a new webmaster.
