As posted earlier in the thread, I purchased a small quantity of pizza rolls for the first time ever in order to test the temperature of the microwaved rolls.  I then consumed them.  I found them boring, uninspiring and tasting largely of cardboard.

...which happens to be an apt description of C2C under Noory.  Not exactly Kobe beef.

You just described a guy I once briefly dated. He was studying accounting at college. Nothing more need be said.

Well, there's that old standby...spicy Jamaican beef patties.

All this pizza roll talk is making me crave some greasy delicious transfats.

Are you referring to people or food here?

My chinese food will be here soon. I can't wait to worf it down. I purchased a bag of extra chunky Chips Ahoy cookies to munch on afterwards. I love Chips Ahoy.

I'm so glad you didn't make the obvious joke about "sausage."

I like your new avatar, BTW.  Sort of a ghetto version of slipstream's usual selections.

You guys stop the cookie talk!  I gave up wheat about 5 months ago.  I've not had a single piece of bread, cracker, cookie, pie, cake, etc. since then.  But I'm getting great results when combined with my greatly increased exercising.  I do love cookies, though, and pie and especially donuts.  I think donuts should be the base of the food pyramid.   :-[

How do you guys eat sweets like that? Im all for the greasy microwaved goodness, but sugary food..blech.

Horror - it's okay to cheat once in a while  ;D  And btw, I used that same diet it's the most effective yet. What makes it hard is I can't stand artificial sweeteners but have a sweet tooth. In those instances of craving, dark chocolate comes in handy.

Which is why you're an ignoramus. Get rid of your hatred for God and let go of that pride. "Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted" the supposed Christ you love, hypocrite. Why is it so hard for you to understand, is Satan blinding you still?
You're the most repressed homosexual ever. EVER.

Ever. Once your sublimation of God for cock ends...then maybe that inner peace will be found. Only a closet case like you can be so fervent in your fanaticism.

I do cheat a bit.  I've been snacking on these:  http://junkfoodguy.com/2011/12/30/limited-seasonal-flavor-mission-sweet-sugar-cinnamon-white-corn-tortilla-chips-kentacohuts/   They're really quite good.  But no flour, just corn chip.   And, yes, dropping the wheat has been a really great way to lose the tummy fat.  I'm probably in the best shape I've been in in at least 15 years.  I'm thinking of starting up lessons in Krav Maga.

You don't eat bread, crackers, COOKIES, pie, and cake? What the HELL is wrong with you? What's the point of LIVING!? No pizza? No pasta? You must rejoin the Borg.

...Go on...buy a nice big bag of Chips Ahoy or Oreos....mmmmm...so gooey...so sugary...mmmmm...you KNOW you want to...yes you do! Yesssss you do! OH! There's the damn doorbell! My fellow devil worshippers are here. I hope that Betty Ballbricher brought something ALIVE to sacrifice this time AND one of her apple crumble pies. She's a "wicked" baker.

Leave the posts they will make good evidence to someone someday.

What just happened? I thought we were talking about pizza rolls.

Speaking of pizza rolls......I'm hungry!

LOL.  Once you give it up for awhile, you no longer crave it.  I never thought that would happen.  I would eat pie for breakfast.  Sometimes pie and ice cream for breakfast.  :-[  I've never been overweight, but I wasn't happy with my health at all.  I was probably pre-diabetic, just from my diet and lack of exercise.  So, after a full day in the ER with abdominal issues, I decided to give the wheat-free thing a try.  It's been a good experience.  I had a volunteer training meeting last week, and they had a large box of donuts brought in, and I was able to avoid them.  I would never have done that before.  The benefit is losing 2 full sizes and actually liking working out for an hour a day every day.  I've skipped two days in the past month and half.  Okay, enough of my fanaticism.

George Noory sucks.

For crying out loud, Porkchops, ya think I eat sweets and greasy junk day in and day out? Like they're goin' out of style? Okay okay, part of me wants to, but common sense and retaining my slim girlish figure prevails.

...Dark chocolate with almonds...honey glazed donuts...fresh and warm chocolate croissants...ice cold milk.

I hear you, and in all seriousness, my diet has been healthy, low fat and organic for years now. I WAS a junk food addict up until my mid twenties, though, like you, I was never overweight at all. Today I indulge in sugary and greasy foods only three times per year at most. This is one of those times, hence my glorification of all that's bad but delicious.

I will tell you one thing, it's a slippery slope for me, and dangerous. One cookie can, for me, easily lead to the whole damn bag being worfed down in one sitting.

Actually, George Noory is one big slippery slope.

Dark chocolate is actually good for you. You probably already know this, but some folks, with a sweet tooth, might benefit from the good news.

I always have Ghirardelli Intense Dark Midnight Reverie bars in my cupboard.  They are 86% cacao.

I have a friend who went on the Gluten free diet. He has Meniere's like me and a food allergy. He said after a few months on the diet the dizzy and vertigo symptoms stopped. But this diet does not work for everyone. My trigger is the weather and the barometer. So when I have trouble hearing I know it will rain.

That helps me to not be able to listen to Coast to Coast. But listening to music does prove to be difficult for me. And I gave it up a few weeks ago. When my hearing returned I tried it and I could hear again. I was happy again until the next rain storm and Bingo -- distorted hearing.

On the pizza rolls-- we used to buy them I agree they do taste like cardboard. Frozen pizza ia not much better. That frozen food is full of sodium. I stay away from it. I do enjoy coffee and Chips Ahoy in the Generic kind are good. Also I like the Pecan Sandies. I stay away from Pizza because cheese has a lot of fat and sodium. Salt is not good for you. As is everything else.

Getting hungry just thinking of them.

Who knew health food could taste so good? It's a shame that milk chocolate is much less nutritious.

I kinda consider the dark stuff almost like an herbal stimulant.  kinda like coffee for me... and if I have dark chocolate and coffee... great way to wake up!  I like the light stuff too... symphony bars are my favs.

LOL, the scope of Jorch's screwups has expanded into spoonerism territory:

I step away for just a little while...

i arbitrarily chose to leave this one because it so closely articulated what i was already thinking.

What a slap in the face to Knapp. Noory sounds wary of Ketchum's Bigfoot study. That's fine, but where's that skepticism when Goldberg and Hoagland make crazy claims? It seems so personal.
