Tales of Terror with Vincent Price and Peter Lorre. It doesn't get any better than that.

You think Jorch is listening to Knapp tonight?

Love all of the Corman Poe flicks.  I was just thinking of Peter Lorre on another thread so I'll post what I posted over there again since it relates to Jorch.

Wanna see a chocolate fountain, little girl?

Dave wants his big break in Hollywood? I have the perfect role for him.  An Americanized contemporary remake of M, the classic Fritz Lang/Peter Lorre film.  Dave in the Lorre role of course.  Quentin Tarantino could direct.  It'll be a classhic. I can see it playing the midnight movie circuit for a long time.

This wasn't bad either.

Jorch listening to Knapp?  Well if Jorch's C2C performance is any indication, he sure isn't learning much from Knapp.

Next Wednesday is the "big announcement" on C2C. Any guesses as to what it might be?

Maybe the show will change it's hours so as not to conflict with Art?

Wouldn't that be something  I don't think Gnoory would ever consider stepping aside for Art. I think he's preparing for heavy competition and has some kind of maniacle plan in an attempt to steal arts thunder.

so the hawiian studio thing was just to keep us off track when in reality he was building a seecrut volcanic lair on a remote ishland somewhere (complete with a 3 hour tour maybe?) ?

May I remind you that Gnoory reads this thread. Stop giving him ideas.

Probably that Coast has found a new weekend host- David John Oates.  Oh, and as a "complete coincidence," he will start hosting mid-July... Sounds about right for the modern day Coast. ::)

Maybe Dave is quitting for a singing career?

Hey for all his evilness and wicked, despicable deeds at least he could speak clearly and could captive an audience. Norry doesn't even have that going for him....

He's brought up some big surprise several times now, it was quite a while back too, seems like maybe two months ago or more. What I don't get is why the big tease? Chances are nobody will give a hoot but him. Like I said before...unless he is announcing an instantaneous retirement.

I suspect that maybe his big plans may be to lick all the paint off an ouija board live on the air leaving only a plain wooden board behind. I also suspect a live streaming video simulcast to the website.

Ha!  I just tuned into MeTV showing "Batman."  Good 'ol Vincent is on.  I'd forgotten he'd played Egghead.

I watched that too along with the episode of Superman before it in which the people thought Jimmy was a prince, and were going to kill him by firing squad. However, with Batman I immediately thought of this discussion on BellGab once the legendary Vincent Price came on the screen tossing egg shaped stink bombs. They don't make tv like they used to back in the good ol' days.

/Vincent Price's birthday was on May 27th along with Christopher Lee, and my mom.

I'll bet it is NOT an announcement of his charitable foundation to help people out. Remember his promises to set up a charity to help out listeners on fixed-income, health expenses, out of work, etc? I'm guessing it will be some bs about his tv show, that is internet-based, or another revamp of the website to make it even more frustrating and harder to get actual information.

Falkie will be Dave's full time co-host to counter Art bringing in (Redacted). He had to change things up, but in all honesty it probably has to do with his own birthday which is on the 4th I think.

PathoJen

Maybe he is planning on announcing that "Old Yellow" and "Hogan Hero" will be played in syndication on gaiamtv.com

I was out and about yesterday so I missed Superman.  I did catch most of Batman with Vincent.  Since I grew-up with the "Bif! Bam! Pow!" Adam West "Batman," that's the version I enjoy.  Never did get into the darker version, regardless of whether or not it's a supposed true version.

No matter what I've seen Price in over the years, it was always obvious he gave it his best.  Drama, comedy, corn-ball, you name it, Vincent Price was just damn good.  Somebody such as Jorch is an abomination and shouldn't even be in the same universe.
