Boy, do I find those gloom and doom conspiracy nuts boring.  Most of the time they are fast talking con artists, but this guy spoke so slowly and George was impatient, something you don't see often.  He kept interrupting and filling in words for the guy.  Sometimes, in doing that, he maneuvered him off topic.  Some people are just slow talkers, but some could be just ancient.  He wrote two books, both having to do with emergencies. 

That's why I don't mind at all the New Agers.  At least they have a positive message and are not trying to overthrow the government by spreading discontent.

It is always better to sew hope rather than despair.  You can better face reality in that way.  These guys who warn you to store food in your basement and who publish 'safe' maps of the US (which often seem to disagree with each other) are just wasting the time and resources of, usually, those who can least afford to waste such things.  They are cruel and selfish.  Most, I'll wager, have some affiliation with some group selling useless junk or an affiliation with some group wanting to reach a tipping point of 'disenfranchised voters' so they can take over the government - some left overs from our enemies in WWII.  They use religion for that purpose, too. 

This is not a political discussion.  It is not about a political party.  It's about terrorists who are just a bit more subtle than our radical Islamists and the philosophy that they use to get what they want.

I've heard George Noory claim that the storable food that advertises on his show is the best food he's ever tasted.

So why not buy 10 years worth at a time instead of going to the store several times a week.  By eating though it and restocking every couple years, you can have tasty nutritious meals in the present AND outlive your neighbors after a social collapse

I was going to say I thought it was a-maz-ine that Noory didn't look it up in Wikipedia before giving the spelling, but I see that he probably came across Erantia, a travel agency in Athens Greece, and starting spelling it out without reading the entire header to gain context.  Personally I had no idea what Urantia referred to.
