Isn't it a bit shameful to publicly bully George Noory so much?
After all, he isn't the one who quit his job a dozen times, right?
That was Art himself.
This obsession with bashing the guy forever is similar to some bullies on a schoolyard who hit on one kid, and everybody joins in because it's so funny, because you're not the target.

It's not bullying at all. He is a professional radio broadcaster earning a pretty handsome living out of it. I feel fully entitled to point that he is the single worst radio broadcaster I have encountered in more than 50 years of listening on both sides of the pond. Christ, he'd be lucky to get a job making tea at the BBC. He can't speak, read, extemporise, conduct an interview or interact with callers, has only a passing acquaintance with the English language, and yet here he is, night after night, doing it. It bewilders me and fascinates me.
There is a compulsion to tune in each night to catch the latest flub or howler and he never, ever, ever lets me down. I don't think I've ever listened to a single show and felt he got through it without some absurd mistake or piece of grammatical nonsense. On top of that, he is such a strange and perplexing character there is a never-ending fascination in tip-toeing through the maze with my fellow rat-eaters trying to psychoanalyze him. I think we're still  stuck in the middle somewhere, but it's a lot of fun.
Finally, I didn't know Coast in Art's pomp. I only know of him through what my American girlfriend has told me, SIT and the brief Sirius excitement. I have heard enough to know that he is/was a natural born broadcaster, in possession of all the talents Noory so glaringly lacks. Coast also covers subjects in which I have been interested all my life. In the hands of Knapp, Punnett, Schrader it can still be riveting, unmissable radio. In Noory's hands, just infuriating comedy gold.
