George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Started by MV/Liberace!, April 06, 2008, 12:23:02 AM

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

Mr. Hanky

"narcissism is usually considered a problem in a person or group's relationships with self and others."

This defines this thread. Noory isn't the problem. Look in the mirror. The problem is you.

Beyond Bleef

Last night I heard George say something to the effect that the position of Coast to Coast AM is that oil is "abiotic" and that climate change is cyclical and not the result of human activity.  Both of those opinions have been debunked by science - but then we all know the official C2C opinion of "mainstream" science.  Add to that George's anti-vaccine campaign, the fact that he's now a 9-11 Truther, his admiration for Alex Jones - and no wonder the thinking portion of the Coast to Coast audience has disappeared.

That would explain why George's Ghost to Ghost sucks.  It takes intelligence and imagination to tell a good ghost story.  Those people are long gone from George's audience.

Time for Premiere to do the obvious.  Offer the weeknight job to Dave Schrader.  And no more Alex Jones.

I got blocked from emailing George for pointing out that the movie 'Network' satirizes angry American television viewers and doesn't validate any of their idiotic concerns.

Somebody replied, calling me a "misfit."

A follow-up email then arrived which read, "He didn't even get your stupid email, and now we've blocked you."

I've had the same experience when emailing George to offer constructive criticism.

George isn't honest about getting constructive criticism.  Here is what he's had to say about it, yet look what he does when he gets some:

Quote from: Gnoory on August 12, 2013, 11:01:29 PM
Regardless of whether you continue to listen to me or not.......those of you who have truly offered constructive criticism...I do appreciate it..anyone who cant grow and learn has a closed mind...

Quote from: Gnoory on August 12, 2013, 10:02:15 PM
Saucy you can email me constructive criticism all day---I relish it...I learn from...it
but when it becomes mean spirited and hateful and you know it is...then I just ignore it...

Quote from: Gnoory on August 13, 2013, 07:50:38 PM
Ive got to jump over, its almost chat time with the Coast insiders. Look Ive reached out to you, I WANT this better, I actually care about your concerns or Id have stayed far away.

Quote from: Gnoory on August 13, 2013, 06:35:58 PM
... If someone doesnt think they can grow and learn everyday then they are kidding themselves. Bellgabers, I am far from perfect
and realize that I can get better...

Quote from: Gnoory on August 12, 2013, 11:58:32 PM
Roy...im doing this because I care about every listener....and if you are upset with the show..then its high time to find out why...

but its the one who doesnt that I need to understand and reach.

Quote from: Gnoory on August 14, 2013, 10:05:26 PM
rude emails get rudetreatment simple as that

Quote from: Gnoory on August 22, 2013, 05:07:08 PM
...And I agree, Ill take honest critiques all day, but when they become rude and mean spirited (as some have) I can take the high road and just walk away or stay in their and punch away...

Quote from: Gnoory on August 23, 2013, 12:34:54 AM
Honestly,if you got terse emails from me its because I got them from you. I ONLY give back what I receive.
Im a fighter always have been.

Quote from: Gnoory on August 13, 2013, 07:41:48 PM
... there's always room for improvement...

... can I improve? Absolutely

As long as 'Mr Hanky' had me going thru George's old posts, here are a couple more

Quote from: Gnoory on August 13, 2013, 11:09:21 PM
sometimes I can barely speak English and you want me to pronounce that name! lol

George left out his limited vocabulary.

Quote from: Gnoory on August 13, 2013, 07:10:42 PM
As for the children stories....they are REAL tragic stories that need to be told. We dont sensationalize them. And to me there's nothing sadder...

George seems to really perk up for these stories.  Same with tragedies involving animals.

Sounds like I missed something last night that5 I wouldhave liked to listen to out of morbid fascination. I listened to about 10 minutes of the alien doll guy.

I won't be listening, so I have to rely on the masochists of this thread to tell me how poorly this goes. Quammen is a legit author, so this should be "good".

QuoteFirst Half: Journalist David Quammen has made 18 trips to Africa since 1999 and has been studying the history of the Ebola virus for many years. In 2007, he wrote an article for National Geographic titled Deadly Contact, about an outbreak of Ebola in a remote village. He'll discuss the uto-the minute developments in the Ebola crisis.

I will be checking it out too. I've own/read four of Quammen's books. They are all interesting. Lets see what he says about ebola because he has one story about traveling the world and never getting sick...saying we worry too much about sterilizing our food.

Some pretty wild stuff from David Sereda tonite.  Or maybe I've just lost my built-up UFO story tolerance after all the recent self-actualization shows.

Btw I didn't see him on the schedule, I think he was added late and the NDE guy got bumped till later.

We could challenge, if not outright refute, Sereda point-by-point on much of what he said, but let's look at his story regarding Bushman from the biggest of big pictures.  He said Bushman offered to personally show him the remains of one of the Roswell aliens in an unguarded facility at Los Alamos.  He decided against it.  Why?  Afraid of getting arrested or shot by the authorities? Nope.  Fear of being exposed to radiation or other harmful environments? No.  Why then didn't he go?  He did not want to drive all that way from Sedona, AZ , to Los Alamos, NM.

Sereda is a UFO researcher/author/film maker offered a once in a lifetime opportunity by a man he trusts and respects to see for himself the remains of a being from another world, to blow the lid off the greatest conspiracy in the history of mankind, and set himself up for the rest of his life.  "No thanks, that would take me the better part of a day to drive that 450 miles to Los Alamos".

Agreed, I used to read his articles in Outside mag. all the time - he's a fine writer.  Unfortunately Noory will probably squander the opportunity as usual, so hope you can get him on your show sometime bateman.

Excellent documentation pb, which speaks for itself.  One nite in a moment of moral weakness I sent him a fairly helpful suggestion.  He responded saying he was "open to tweaking the show".

I thought that was a bit presumptuous, like he's already running the thing like some finely-tuned Ferrari, but maybe he'd tweak what kind of oil he uses or something.  Problem is though, dude's driving a rusted-out old jalopy and doesn't even know it.

Exactly. Sereda is absolute rubbish. Even Noory started out with "We've been doing some research (read: Looked up Bushman's wikipage) and some people seem to think this is a hoax. What about that?" Then he totally let Sereda off the hook.

BTW, astroguy's latest post is on topic.

LMH said she thought it was uncredible on Thursday is probably why George said that.

I disagree on the Sereda being rubbish. Omm chanting seems to be a big hit with my house plants.

Bushman I know nothing about, but Sereda is a wackjob.  He actually cited the 90s FOX Network "Alien Autopsy" film as a legitimate reference source when talking with Noory last night.  How he could let that pass without calling Sereda on it is unbelievable.

when not asleep in the 4th hour George googles all the time whose purpose is twofold:

* to find facts/figures/things slipped by guests' minds
* to find seemingly intelligent questions, he used to do his research beforehand in the earlier years but now just wings it on air looking up google & wiki

when he finds something that slipped the guest's mind, it's usually a minute later and doesn't admit googling but takes credit

if it's 2 minutes later, tom's done it next room and whispers into his editorial control headphones line-in

if no questions are forthcoming via search engines, he says:

HHuh!
Mmmmmmm...
Fascinating
Isn't that sumtin?
How about that?
I was in the navy
I was the last guy to interview Hoffa, i was a teen & bumped into him in a parking lot
Really?
Well what do you know?
Detroit's finished
We'll have to do sumtin about that
I like that
Do you believe in the devil?
(to guest) Nah, that caller's gone (disconnected), yeah!

My dad worked for Ford
I'm doin this thing about the grid
I take it regularly
No, you don't want that
Interesting
Your dad? really? what year? (guest usually says: don't know, thinking wtf)
I call it: "The Wireless Internet"!
That's Gggreat
I was in a restaurant and this couple came over & said you're noory?
Ahhhhhhhh! NO!
Do you believe in angels?
Well, me and Tom.....
I love it!

he's just interviewing george as a return for when he had church on claiming the credit on c2c for the google earth underwater photos some poor bastard actually found & emailed him. George apparently was on alex jones last week too claiming his swift return token, he also was on ventura apparently last week too, all on youtube but couldn't waste time on them, listened to c2c only 10 min.s last night. George claims the return token and his pound of flesh fast.

that church is a creepy utter bullshitter and irritating to listen to and worse than noory, thanks to Art for giving us crap after crap and then saying I didn't know about these assholes in L.A. turning out to be creeps! i prefer www.kgraradio.com and www.freedomslips.com to fader crap, church is worse than even noory  :P

Hehe Jimmy church is hosting c2c on Sunday night. Tom fucked Art again as with Sirius.

I was the only one who Told you Mr Art Bell, Jimmy Church will stab you in the back quicker than anyone In your life till now along with that guy who runs your website.

That's what you get for swimming with L.A.sharks.

You need to forget dark matter, get a total new brand name & entity and registered company hundred percent owned by you with new ppl on freelance consultancy basis for next summer's return.

Switching back to kgra to listen to a non creep with decency & who is not jumping on the para money train as ordered by his greedy wife & knows his stuff, i.e. Richard Dolan.

Mr Art Bell, are you taking notes? You should've learnt these basics decades ago, pay attention as I'll be asking questions later  ;D

P.S. Mr Noory, Tom fucked you too  :D sack him, go beyond his back & above his head, if not he already has done you ;) what do L.A. pimps look out for? Fresh young Hos at the bus station  :-*

This is all very disconcerting..
And quite frankly I thought I was the only one who didn't like Jimmy Church, his voice, his style, or his demeanor.
Perhaps now I will be joined happily by those revolted by the photo of him and a very pale George as the midnight rider, coming to steel the toupees of the young.

SnapT

What's up with this, George?  I was sucking up to you on these very forums a YEAR ago, and I STILL haven't been invited to host a weekend edition of C2C!  I feel so neglected...

When will Falkie be hosting?  He could do a great four hours on ebola.

With fresh new talent like Connie Willis (you may know her from QVS & HSN) and Jimmy Church things are looking great for Coast to Coast AM in 2015! JC has a underwater base and Connie works closely with Dr. Mulder on his wishing machine! O LULZ  ;D

Yep it's so obvious when he does this.  He'll just blurt out the answer, out of context, like it just came to him magically.

"The Outer Limits!  That was the show by the way ..."

"Mars rover name is Spirit!"

"Corn!  Corn is the big staple food you were thinking of ..."

He also likes to insert a little "of course" after looking things up, as if to cover up.

"The Outer Limits, of course, was the show"

Falkie would never sell out like JC and risk turning his fan base against him. I see he has new glasses, and without the help of nice guy Gnoory! Had he accepted those glasses it would enter him into a soul binding contract that would not expire until we landed on the sun.

George says they're still working on a camera for him in the L.A. studio.  How long does that take, really?
