So I had a horrible nightmare last night that the night sky filled with angels. With trumpets. And the angels blew their trumpets with such might ("might"!) that it killed all the fish. Every fish in every ocean, stream, river, lake, tank and bowl either exploded or suddenly went bloated and belly-up when this sound rocked the earth. Some of them threw themselves on land. It sounds tame, but it was pretty gruesome.

This could be one of those paintings where the canvas takes up an entire wall or maybe an outdoor mural. Or maybe sofa cushions.

I usually blame the dog. If someone leaves a dishtowel on the fridge door handle, he'll open it up and take whatever he wants. He likes beer enough that I wouldn't be surprised if he's learned to use a bottle opener.

1) I doubt George listens to the show even if other hosts are on. He clearly doesn't listen to shows he does- because normal people would try to improve when confronted with that kind of information.

2) Schrader last night, to me, was a little weak. Seemed weird hesitation gaps with questions and allowed the host to go off a bit. And he seemed to have a sort of resignation dealing with the callers (who wouldn't considering those callers though...the guy with the problems in his crotch and leg and then feet and government monitoring etc. Wow). But it could be the recording I made but it seemed to me that the board or phone lines weren't working properly (gaps between host and Taff, callers seemingly not hearing host, gaps between when calls would go on air). But clearly he is much, much better than Noory and Darkness is a great show!

I doubt he does because that means making an effort, but I'll bet he's very much aware of the popularity of other hosts. In the past few months since Art's return and retirement, a lot of Noory's character has come out, particularly pettiness and self-preservation, when his position was being challenged. Much as I didn't care for JBW, it sure as hell looks like his popularity did him in.

I noticed how much more Noory has been talking about Fukushima now that John B. Wheezy is gone.  I think a caller even complimented him on his coverage of it.  I don't recall Noory ever, EVER talking about it until John Boy was gone.

There were a few moments where Schrader reminded me of sNoory asking questions that ^I thought^ had already been answered by the guest. One of the memory-lapse instances dealt with something to do with reincarnation and that fascinating but weird quantum-type of energy that doesn't create heat, unlike everything we know of in the universe, though I'd have to listen to the discussion again to be certain.  Overall, Schrader does a good job and certainly better than Bad Mustache, if he commits to not let the windbag psychotic callers take control of the show for five to ten minutes.  I thought the old know-it-all coot would never stop talking. For a time, it appeared Schrader had gone AWOL and I was wondering if a missing person police report was in order.  Maybe I'm just being a hypercritical ahole, being I'm in weekly therapy for PTLD (post-traumatic listening disorder) from sNoory's never-ending butchering of the English language as he grossly mishandles his hosting duties.

Years ago, were teaching my lab to open the fridge this way and bring us beer by grabbing bottles in drink huggies on the bottom shelf. Then I realized we were nuts. I could just picture her perusing the leftovers while we were out. That dog was too smart for her own good.
