I think George really has improved these past few shows. He really did seem to be more with it the last few nights. I had a tear in my eye when a few of the last guests mentioned that if you read their books you will see that the question has been answered. I felt sorry for George because clearly he did not read the book. I know it is impossible to read every book but I felt sorry for George. He is trying to get better but that is one area he just could not improve on these past few trying nights.

I'd say there's been an improvement. He seems more awake and engaged. Long term it will be interesting to see if he improves the quality of his guests and cuts down on the new age stuff.

I still think he needs a bit more edge to the atmosphere. Hell, the right bumper music might help with that.
