Full agreement. I don't have the feeling that Noory is racist, but he is an intellectual coward of the first water. He challenges guests on nothing, but will often call them out the following day or so when he's back on safe ground. As you say, Art, Ian or Knapp would at least have asked Hulet to clarify his words about Obama.
It is NoMoreNoory's opinion that the time has come to challenge Prem Rat. If they won't sack the host and save Coast, drop the name and re-brand it The George Noory (Comedy) Show, which is what it's become.
If anyone has those Prem Rat emails, can they re-post them?

I tend to agree. But then, Noory has often unceremoniously dropped a guest at a break for saying something mildly contrary to his usual positions.  He kept Hulet for his full segment.

Snorry mentioned the police activity in Boston again, then said "As you know, I don't believe in coincidences".  What the hell does that have to do with it.  What did he think was a coincidence?  I think if a crime is committed and police react, it reallly isn't a coincidence.  He says it so often now, that not only is it old, it doesn't even fit what he's talking about.

I think he believes it's not a coincidence there was a shooting at MIT shortly after the Boston Marathon bombings, but I also think we're all getting pretty sick of that crutch of his to avoid reasoning things out.

"Can't have you back on the show if this is it."  etc etc. He wasn't challenging her view points or anything. He was just putting her down on air.


He never even let her get used to speaking on air to MILLIONS of people. He just kept hammering away. I think he is a degenerate sexist moreso than being a racist. The above mentioned interview just seemed to be the apex.


If he is not treating a female guest/caller like shit he is deliberately acting uninterested or unempathetic. This is not a constant thing, it is like he gets in moods and just tees off on women. For the most part I get the vibe that he is just entertaining them and doesn't take them seriously. Like it is a novel idea a woman is intelligent or has something interesting to say.

When there is a woman caller he is always problem solving. Obviously they need his help.


He just comes off as a total dirtbag.

It's just like a mad lib.  He can hit nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs to reply to something.  When it doesn't fit the statement or question and we're scratching our collective heads wondering wtf did he just say - its because he has just hit the wrong classification, but can't think on his feet fast enough to match it up correctly.

Can I just say that, having found this message board several months ago (but only participating in the discussion), I suddenly find listening to the show... kind of fun? I get turned off by the hate-mongers Noory often interviews, and I hate what he has done to Art's show, but you folks are genuinely funny and surprisingly insightful. Somebody posted a while back that the board's discourse had devolved, and maybe I missed its glory days or something, but coming here makes Coast to Coast listening into a kind of MST 3000 experience. Massive gunfire, explosions, and a whole passle of cops running around looking for the second suspect. They busted the first one, made him strip down, and then cuffed and stuffed him.
I'll let you folks check it out on your own. You dont need my play by play. As nasty as this business is, it still beats noory by a country mile.

You are right I could see how it being a muslim group is not a real headscratcher to some. I can look at it in certain ways. You must be referring to the fact that in the West's history of imperial diplomacy we have left countries that are Muslim with weaker governments. To say a first world, good ole Christian country doesn't have people who are capable of doing very bad things is BS. We just have systems, laws, resources in place that let us know who is doing what, why, where, how, and when anything happens. A lot of countries in the world don't have these kind of resources at their disposal and those same countries have a hard time with these "Muslim" groups who do not represent the majority in anyway. They represent power, they represent the ignorant, and they represent the disillusioned.

I can kind of see what you are saying. KIND OF, but you are simplifying it in a way I can only find as racist.  You are looking through black and white eyes. Look at it like this "Poor countries without stable governments are more prone to have a very strong minority of militant groups who hide under the thin veil of religion."  Hey now we are talking. The conditions people were born into and cannot help are where these terrorist groups are more prone to find a foothold. Ok I can see that. Why has Turkey failed to produce many terrorists? They are a Muslim democracy with a strong government. Maybe it is related?


You used the words "Certain groups and cultures" I can almost believe you but you'd have to prove to me you mean that and not mean "arab looking". Those are my words not yours, but you must admit, there is a dangerous amount of people who link "arab looking" with terrorism. And to anyone who does fit my criteria (my words) I challenge them to prove somehow that terrorist groups represent more than 1-5% of the population in any region.
