...One night he actually had a guest on I was interested in, probably alternative history, and I noticed he asked the same lame-ass questions that he had asked the other time he had the same guest on, and then noticed they were the same questions he always asked.  He asked a question the guest had just spend 15 minutes on, including the answer to George's question.  He asked the same question again a little later.  Then he cut the guest off just as he was finishing up something I really wanted to hear the end of, went to a commercial, and never got back to having him finish the story....

This nicely encapsulates how I ended up here as well.  Technically, it was a 'George anniversary special' which sent me over the edge, but I was already fed-up by then.

My moment of realization happened during some interview with a physicist.  I realized he'd done zero prep, had no idea what this guy's work was about, and actually wasn't really interested.  Instead he'd just eat up time with generic questions and trite observations I'd heard dozens of times before: "Isn't space amazing?", "Don't you think life must be out there?", "How'd you get into all this?, "Are you religious?", "How did the big bang happen?" etc.

What would Einstein done if he had a computer?

... Norry can have the best guest or subject, or caller, and wreck the mood, ruin the story, try to take attention away to himself, and generally screw it up. ...

He completely lacks the gift of leveraging the long-form radio format, as opposed to other skilled presenters like Art and Knapp.  Instead of a slow dramatic buildup of narrative, you just get a hodge-podge of disjointed questions which go nowhere.

Even worse, George frequently blows any hope for suspense by throwing the 'big question' right at the top.  Like awhile back he had some ancient civs guy on, and although it was obvious where one path of research led, George just jumps right to the end in the first five minutes blurting out "Do you think aliens built all that stuff!"  It's like, jeez, where do you go from there?  (Answer: to whatever the next 3x5 card says.)

Howard Bloom is on again.   ::)   I get sick of hearing him.  Even more so since Noory once referred to him as "The human brain."  LOL!  Yep. I kid you not.  Good old George once stated that verbatim.  So all of us have a little Howard Bloom inside of our skull.   ;D

I would say is kind of what you expect, the guest being a Russian apologist or underplay things Russia does. Jorch like always lives down to his low expectations. Pretty much in agreement, every questions is a agreeing leading question, nothing challenging, no filling in the blanks when the guest is spinning. He does this annoying thing when he gives a statement in a form of a questions. For example

GN: I think there is nothing wrong in talking to other countries, we should do that! Don't you think? (somehow that's a question)
Guest: *repeats exactly what Noory just stated*
(The guest and Noory both leave out the very important detail that these guys didn't disclose that they talk to them and in some cases when asked, lied about it. You can have whatever opinion  you want, but as a host at least give the full picture of the topic)

I listened to just a bit but every questions was the  same formula, leading questions to get the guest to agree with him and then somehow act like he (Noory)is unbiased and of course leaving out basic details. Another example was Jorch saying "We should be focusing on threats like N.Korea & middle east (again not really a question) Guest says "This is all build by Democrats and the media" (which again, ignores basic known fact that that multiple govt agencies have been looking into Russia involvement not just hear but abroad)

I actually didn't mind so much the guest have a pro Russian view, but wow can the host do some homework and actually challenge a tiny bit, or at least give the full picture of what is being investigated. Somebody on twitter brought a funny point, Noory seems all in with the dangers of N.Korea, but thinks the Russia stuff is all an exaggeration, yet it pretty much comes from the same intel groups. Why would he buy so much on one side but not the other?

This. I'm not sure how much of it is Jorch's ignorance, I believe he listens to/reads the news in a superficial way so has very little understanding of any topic a guest brings and how much is his personality, that he's a 'nice guy' and doesn't feel comfortable being confrontational in the slightest.  Whatever, it makes for extremely boring and often awkward radio. We should be hearing an interesting conversation, a back and forth, but all we get is one person's knowledge/opinion with Jorch not only not challenging any of it but agreeing with everything the guest says, any questions he follows up with just support the guest often in a very obtuse way like '"We should be focusing on threats like N.Korea & middle east ........................ don't you think?"

Occasionally a caller will call him on letting guests get away with absurd/false/ridiculous statements. Which is about the only thing that will raise Jorch's hackles other than a guest at 3AM in the morning using a profanity like John Barbour did. 'Folks, we don't do that kind of program. We're not going to harass guests. Everybody has the right to their opinion.'  It's a huge cop out, opinions and factual statements should be challenged by a competent host, and you can do it without being an asshole. Jorch doesn't challenge guests because he's intellectually not capable of doing it, or too lazy to get informed enough to do it -  easier to just say 'I could do that folks but I choose not to.'

I wish I could put Jorch in a time machine and have him interview Adolf Hitler in the 1930's.

Rotflmao.  I was flipping through some TV channels during a commercial break, and I come across a show on the old west.  They show a photo of some female card player, Madame Mustache, real name is Eleanor Dumont.  I'm going to have nightmares all week.

This truly is a cult.  The guest on now is tied to "Doc" Wallach's website.  Wow.  Sell those supplements Noory.  Make that money and pretend to care.  You fucking shill.  >:(   Why the hell am I listening anyway?  Shame on me.

ShayP

A few days ago Noory said to a caller..."You know me! I'm Mr. Health!"  Puked in my mouth.  :P

ShayP

One of Noory's strengths is being so comfortable giving and endorsing misinformation.  I'm sure he's proud.

A-Mazing PB. I thought  my avatar  is creepy but that is so unsettling. We are officially  through the looking glass. Jorch is like the worst Dr. Who ever.

I pity you Shay, I don't  even look at the radio  if there's anything medical. So even if it's  not officially  Critical  Health Noose it still somehiw is tied to it. What a total scam C2C is endorsing

Sometimes I have trouble sleeping and the radio is always on in the background.  Like you, I don't seek out the shows that are medical, etc.  Unfortunately I chose tonight to torture myself.  Yes...I could turn it off.  However it becomes a curiosity to me.  :-\

Coast to Coast AM, which focuses on the paranormal but also occasionally diverts to other topics like politics, personal health and finance,
Personal health must be his full length infomercials.  Finance? Perhaps Joshua Pee Warren's wishing machine or him hawking precious metals.

Sad I missed Bloom, though. He's one of the few regular current-events\ futurists that isn't all doom and gloom.

From the standpoint of someone who sees the whole thing to likely be not much more than insincere political allegations, I thought it was a good interview. I would encourage you to give the guy a listen if you can find the show on rewind...i typically listen to the previous night via the tune in app. BTW the guy was no Trump fan and was obviously left of center (just in case objectivity is of concern). Cheers

I hate liberals who lick Putan twice as much as I do conservative Putin lickers.

I like when he takes credit for ideas/intelligence he has no rights to.

The year is 1916, Jorch Noory has somehow managed to get Albert Einstein on Coast2Coast

Jorch: Albert it's so nice to have you on our show. I hear you've been very busy and everybody is excited about your new theory.
Einstein: Thank you sir, pleasure to be here.
Jorch: Albert what do you mean by General Relativity? What is it?
Einstein: This is a new theory, a different and I believe a more correct understanding of gravity.
Jorch: What is gravity?
Einstein: According to the laws of Newton ......
Jorch: I grew up in Detroit Albert. I always loved science in school. We were taught about Newton's laws.
Einstein: Congratulations.  So what my new theory elucidates is that gravity is just a distortion in curvature of 4 dimensional space-time.
Jorch: That's what I thought too.
Einstein: What?
Jorch: It never made sense to me. I asked Tommy just the other day 'why are there only 3 dimensions? there must be more. It just doesn't make sense.' I'm glad we agree.

I haven't listen to the show in quite a while as I have no need for vitamins , time shares, Tupperware , dating services, escorts, herbal remedies, or vacuum cleaners.  However, I was looking forward to afterlife researcher Josie Varga, on 6/6, unfortunately it was a bust. I got none of it, just didn't relate well on radio. I am aware of she is a person with disabilities; however Jorch should have taken this under consideration before he booked her on the program, as after 20 minutes of getting absolutely  nothing  I turned it off.  One decent subject after months of compete crap and it didn't work out for whatever reason. Really a bad time for Coast to send me a recent unsolicited email on remaining a Coast subscriber.

Jorch to caller  “We don't discuss politics here on this program, there are plenty of other programs out there that do that if that's something you want to listen to"  (stunned caller silent )
Jorch "On tomorrow night’s program we will have analyst Craig B. Hulet which will delve into geopolitical politics, really looking forward to that"

Jorch's first question to Albert Einstein  would be   "how did you get into physicist'?

Jorch's  go to question, how did you get into? I'm waiting for the show to book a dominatrix; just to hear Jorch ask his question.

LOL.  Ms. Jorch.

That pic could serve as a publicity photo for the upcoming reality TV show starring Jorch that I've heard rumours about. I knew there had to be more to his announcement than just a contract extension! It seems a camera crew is following him around to chronicle the daily struggle of his brave journey into womanhood. That's right, our Jorch is "transitioning".

Watch for "Georgina Noory: A Profile Of Courage" coming soon to TLC.

I wonder which washroom George will use when his "journey" is complete? Come to think of it, which one is he using neow? So many questions.

With the crap on the tube these days, "Ms. Jorch, The Birth of a Woman" would fit right in.

No kidding. I'm convinced that reality TV is part of the global elite's plan to dumb down the population. In fact, if Noory really was a tranny they would seize upon the story and exploit it as part of their nefarious propaganda war. George Soros would buy up all the money losing AM stations and force them to carry Coast, using Noory as a symbol of tolerance and diversity. George...er, Georgina would then be heard on over 1,000 radio stations.
Don't do it, Jorch!
