Last night in the first hour, Noory claimed he knew as much about the middle east as anybody - he said thats because some of his ancestors came from there... :o

George constantly amazes me with these comments. People get their doctorates in the history and politics of these regions and don't claim to know everything. Once again, ignorance and ego on display. There's no way to call him on any of it, which makes it even more annoying.

I noticed more and more guests are using a "passive aggressive" strategy in dealing with George's uninformed or inane comments and questions. Simply not speaking until he breaks in with a "you there" and then the guest will sigh and switch to another subject or simply hawk their book or website.

It has got to be difficult for them. I remember one show with Dr. Joe Dispenza, who was talking about neuroscience and how the brain is wired. George interrupted him in the middle of an interesting explanation. George asked about evil influence- it's an old chestnut he keeps bringing up about a guy he knows- and you could hear the frustration when Dr Joe answered with a flat "NO". George wasn't even on the same block as the topic, Dr, and audience.

I'm beginning to think that it's really not George's fault. The company seems to have an interest in both Coast and the web programs and they appear to be merging the two. George fits the plan and has been promoting the changes they want. I'm not saying it's good- just appear to be "the new direction" George announced.

I've had 3 guests basically say the exposure they got on Ass to Mouth AM spikes their book sales and website hits so they are willing to ignore Jorch's stupid/repeat/off-topic/etc questions and poor hosting

GN: "Ann, lets talk for a roment."

Rokay Shaggy.

After a story of how Ann's dead Siamese cat came to her in a dream.
GN: "How did you find out you had a brain tumor?"
AS: "I had a grand mal seizure."

What was with how George suddenly cut off the ouija board lady during the news segment?

For the second night running, Joorch, leading expert on Mid-East geopolitics, tells us that while Saddam Hussein was 'no Boy Scout', he 'created and contained' Iraq. This is just breathtaking. The first is simply wrong. As was pointed out to him last night, Iraq and Iran were created by British civil servants drawing lines on maps and inventing names. As to Saddam 'containing' Iraq. Sure he did, Joorch. The Kurds and the Marsh Arabs will be happy to talk to you about that.
And he keeps insisting he was opposed to the invasion of Iraq. I wonder is there any record of this? I'm more than tempted to call BS on that.

Pretty certain this was because she was insisting that kids getting freaked by Parker Brothers' board game was down to psychological issues and nothing to do with possession. That directly contravenes The Gospel According To Joorch, and she got cold-shouldered pretty smartly for refusing to toe the line on evil, demons and portals. He didn't challenge her of course, just brushed her aside.

Whenever I listen to Noory do his segments there is no doubt that certain time is allotted to certain topics.  Her time was simply "up"- the clock on the wall told him it was time to move on.  You notice it with guests as well.  The clock on the wall says it is time to move to the next cue card and he does.  Time was up for that segment.  If he gave her an additional 15 seconds and said goodbye his 8 hours of show prep would be washed down the drain and he would not recover for the rest of the show.  Better to just cut her off (like he has done to dozens of others) and move on.

I barely stopped myself from using the Lords name in vain when George gave us all the story of the drowning girl.  After she was revived her brother held up a picture of Jesus and asked if that was the man who was with her... "Yes, it was."  I have mentioned that I fall on the side of the religious- but stop being stupid.  Was it a representation of Jesus in my white Christian tradition, did he look like the Jesus on the ceiling of a chapel, a piece of art work?  And this is Mexico with Catholicism.  Perhaps it was St. John or St. Mark or perhaps even Judas?  To trust a kid to identify Jesus on sight is the dumbest thing I have heard to date.  Give me something better... give me a good story, give me a good testimony, give me something else as your "proof" because you make everybody look stupid for wanting so badly to believe that story has relevance or is "proof" of their belief that they ignore the 300 problems with it.

Man, I hate Dave.  There is no way that I can listen to how the Streibers "beat" cancer (no doubt with the help of turmeric and lizard tails.)  Good night George (and because it has been awhile since I have typed it out: George Noory sucks!)

George: "I don't think we are sensationalizing or ENTERTAINING." Not so sure about the first part of the statement but second one often applies to the show.

By the way, George let the "Priest" gloss-over very, very quickly that he was not of the Roman Catholic Church but a member of "pre-Vatican II" Catholic church. Big difference. It would surprise me if this group really had official sanction or contact with the Vatican. Most, if not all, of the various "pre-Vatican II" groups don't recognize the current Papal succession and Catholic doctrine post-Vatican II.
Feyl's website has a disclaimer stating that his "group", Catholic Church Inc. ::), has no affiliation with the Roman Catholic Church.  They're just a bunch of pretend exorcists and cleric wannabees playing dress-up in cassocks in bishops' purple and lace, where every one gets to be a bishop or maybe pope.  It's no surprise Noory glossed over it, he's held a grudge against the RCC ever since he learned of the church's view of mastubation.

I tried to check out the site but it had so many Flash stuff on it I couldn't open (I disabled Flash for security and computer speed.) I thought html5 was supposed to fix that problem and let them run scripts and video but I guess not. GNS.

George Noory is the toxic slime at the bottom of the pool.

-or- the judges would also have accepted this answer:

George Noory is the toxic-slime covered water pump at the bottom of the pool, because George Noory sucks.

My 2cents: too many video games and not enough real play. It is one thing playing even a sport in a video game. Nothing hurts. In a real sport it hurts when you fall, get hit, get checked, trip, etc. You learn. "Ouch". But much worse is the ultra-violent, ultra-realistic video games in which mayhem is the main point of the game and where you have multiple lives and violence has no consequence on either party and is indeed the point of the game. Also, things like "airsoft" guns that look like real guns but don't hurt that much. At least "back in my day" if we shot a friend with a bb gun in a game it hurt and we learned lessons (like use single-pump only and don't aim for head) or not to point any guns at people. Also many children today have never experienced death. So maybe they don't think it exists? How many have shot a killed an animal? Most funerals are cremations or don't have a "viewing". Pets are taken away and "put down" in an office instead of being witnessed dying at home. Not many have lived, or even been, to a farm or ranch or seen animals killed. And in the games and movies you can simply "reset" and play again. And lastly, what is up with shooting people? Back in my day, we'd have plenty of fights. Meet at the hill after school. Usually a few punches thrown and then everyone goes home. Lessons learned. How to stand up to a bully. How to take, and give, a punch. When to stop. How not to follow peer-pressure. Etc. Now someone is "dissed" or feels left out and they want to kill everyone? Craziness.

I blame it far more on 20 years of WWF as "clean family TV" and the newer abomination of MMA/UFC; unfettered bloody brutality as entertainment.

We've always had wrestling and often it was more brutal back in the day (traveling circuses, fight any comer, and even earlier days of TV wrasslin') but you are right the new wrestling is no longer just good guy/bad guy (which, in their way, reinforce cultural motifs and values for good or bad, I guess) but "there is no bad guy" now, women fighting women, and now I think even men vs women and all kinds of odd themes and story-lines. You're right the MMA/UFC is also a big influence. Basically gladiator games but with some very limited rules. And the viewership to both is now on tv and online, accessible to everyone at any age.

Could the problem be the "star children" aka "indigo children"? Maybe they don't feel pain or are sadists? Aren't we told by various C2C guests that this generation many of the children are "indigo"? Hmmmm

I'd never have believed that people pay actually a $99.95 pay-per-view fee to see a gruesome UFC match if I hadn't seen the promo message on my cable box.  Nice family saturday night viewing; I guess something had to replace Lawrence Welk.

And they show it for free also on various channels (or maybe it is after the ppv match is done? I don't know, I don't watch.) Btw, my station was playing Lawrence Welk until last year. No more donations from me, though I only gave minimum and only to the local PBS. I said keep it on for posterity's sake at least. And I like polka. But no dice.
