Hillary is a soulless, blank automaton at this point. When I listen to her talk, I sense no presence of an actual human left in her empty husk.

I'll vote for Hillary over a neocon or a fundamentalist Tea Party candidate though. Even though she's only marginally better than the former.

I like that defeatist enthusiasm, in a weird way, actually! It beats out nihilism or the cynicism "both parties all the same" mantra. A weird, though maybe profound, backwards (not in a bad way) way of thinking. Like some of the defeated Hindoo and Buddahist schools and old "protestant" sects in Europe who walled themselves in. I like it. Go with it and keep us, at least me, updated.

This is not limited to ObamaCare, although that's the worst of it and best recent example.  How else has a political minority of Americans in a Conservative majority country managed to hugely expand government reach at all levels, and empower it intrude into every aspect of our lives. 

Not by being honest about who they are, what they want, and where they want to take the country, that's for sure.  Does anyone really think a majority of Americans want this level of taxation, this level of deficit spending and debt, this level of surveillance, this level of being told what to do and not do by a bunch of bureaucrats. 


Just as one example, do people really want local school policy and curriculum being decided by federal and state government educrats instead of parents and teachers at the school and within the district?  Or has that control been seized due to a 'lack of transparency', which has been 'a huge political advantage' for these people. 


I suggest instead of 'the stupidity of the American voter or whatever', it's really a bunch of ideologues working around the clock like termites - while the rest of us are busy with work, home, family and friends, and have been too busy to pay close attention - chewing away at our country.

Maybe last weeks repudiation of Obama has shown the people are now awake.

When Eric Holder went down to Ferguson, did he try to inject calm and reason?  Did he suggest everyone wait for the results of the investigation?  Or did he do pretty much the same thing Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson do - assume the worst and make things worse by revving up the mob? 

Answer:  he went down there to stir up the crowd during the run up to the elections.  I didn't hear Obama - his boss - or a single Democrat rebuke him.  Instead they featured Ferguson in yet another campaign based on racism (theirs).


As far as Al's White House access, don't you think Obama and Big Media are smart enough to hide that as best they can?  Al's not exactly an insider, but he's not an outsider either.  And he sure likes to talk - try googling 'Sharpton Obama'

One thing sure, I wouldn't be photographed with him (or either one of them, actually).  But there are plenty of photos of the two of them together.

"Morning Joe" on MSNBC hosts Mika and Joe were discussing (maybe a week ago?) the "Rev's" access to the President and apparently he has the President's ear anytime and comes and goes from the Oval Office frequently.  Valerie Jarrett is the last person the President speaks with every evening before retiring, and she sits in on ANY meeting she wishes to, that according to Chuck Todd's new book.  These two "Advisors" make me feel very secure the direction of the United States is right on track...

He should have sent Jarrett packing long, long ago.  I doubt he gives Sharpton more than lip service and only because he does have influence with the A-A base. But you should be thankful. Whomever Obama is taking political advice from, they're terrible at it. Obama is, hands down, the worst at Presidential politics since Carter.  With decent political advisors, Obama would have been far more successful and then you'd really be upset.  Personally, I wish the likes of Jarrett, Rove, et al; full-time political advisors; could be legally banned from the WH.

And then some tummy trouble and "bump on the head." But "what does it matter?" Because the rebels, now called ISIL (by us they call themselves IS) so we need to arm NEW rebels to fight them. But important, for Obama due to Sunni sympathies,  to not allow Iran, or Heaven forbid, Assad (who a few years ago with his wife was toast of town and magazines for their liberalism and her beauty) to take out Obama's rebels and Arab Spring Muslim Brotherhood radicals.
