I gave money to a younger woman who "needed it for diapers" outside of Safeway where I left my car when going to the Home Depot.  On the way back I saw here carrying a Jysk (home furnishing) bag with candles and other crap.  I could not resist commenting that I hope her kid enjoyed his diapers (the fact she did not have a kid with her probably should have tipped me off.)

That was one of the first and one of the last times I was caught.  For some reason the diapers thing actually worked on me...  Often times I have watched the same guy panhandling at the same light, kept track of what he was pulling in and considered quitting my job.  He was making more than me tax free...

They can "earn" like 300+ a day here in New York. There's one guy I've seen on the subway so many times I practically have his speech memorized. It's always his birthday, and all he wants for his birthday is enough money to buy a bus ticket to get back home, and he's always "about halfway there". Scumbag.

We are getting a massive cancer wing named after the former health minister because he freed up the money.  I almost vomited thinking about all of the other people that were more deserving than some jackass who uses other peoples money to build something that the public needs and the permanently slaps his name on it.

The name is a small price to pay to get it.  Just saying.

I have a new rule to giving "homeless" people money.   I figured it out when I was coming back from a long trip about a month ago.  I stopped at a chain restaurant and was approached by an obvious meth head, who needed some change to get gas.  I told him "yeah, you know what, I don't normally do this and I don't believe you" but I gave him some money anyway.   I know he's not getting gas and will just use the money to go buy more drugs, but my feeling is that by supporting his needs, I'm keeping his ass there, and not in my town.    So now, when I travel, I have already and will continue to throw money at these losers, literally.   I throw pocket change past them,  making them run a little for it.   They can keep sucking off the tit of their current locale.   I never give money to the local trash.   Plus, the more I give elsewhere maybe the word will spread and the locals will leave.

Am I evil?

Compared to what?

Compared to those who just hand money to them.   I can't help but throw it.

So no one keeps those $1 things that the ministry leaves on the ground to give to the panhandlers?

Nothing quite says friendship than hearing from somebody for the first time in 3 years via a chain e mail that directs you to their Kickstarter/GoFundMe page.

GoFuckYourself, bud...before I start kicking you.

My bad dude, but I thought you'd be interested in co-enabling my Solar Powered BeJeweled Dodecahedron Taintatron Visionary Human Catapult and DIY Kind Burrito Installment at like, Burning Man. Sorry bra, if you choose to not ride the orgonic rainbow of evolutionary phantasma with us all, then I guess I'll remove you from my mailing list at my soonest convenience or whenever somebody comes and helps me unstuck my van from down by the river. (Anyone, please?)

Now that's something I would have funded!

The douche I heard from is trying to start something very bold and daring...an on line classic rock station. Groundbreaking stuff, "Hotel California" "Freebird" and "Ramblin' Man" definitely are underground sounds that need exposure.

To be fair, there are only about ten thousand online classic rock stations, so he shouldn't have any trouble attracting six or eight listeners.  And he apparently has never heard of Live365.com, which sets people up with everything they need to start their own internet station for a few bucks a month.  If he goes with them, he might get as many as a dozen listeners on a good day.  Then all he has to do is sit back and wait in vain for the rest of his life for the money to start rolling in. Easy peasy!

Nothing quite says SUI GENERIS! than playing "Touch of Grey" or "Freefallin'. From the vague to the point of opacity explanation in the solicitation, I mean "e mail from a good friend", the costs are apparently due to his wanting to hire DJs of note(out of work) from the Boston area. Which could double your charitable projection of a dozen listeners.

And this auteur is also working on an e-book of "rock lists and debates". I think a new King of All Media is emerging. Nothing quite reaches the masses like a "Stones or Beatles?" debate. And by masses, I mean 81 year old pensioners who go to the 7am mass in the rec room of the nursing home they've resided in since 1997.

Hey I got it, let's do Raiders of the Lost Ark, but update it by swapping Indiana Jones for a vegan lesbian named Montana!  Get it?  It's fresh, yeah?  And instead of those mean Nazis will add some wacky transformer robots to the mix.

There are a ton of good movie ideas.

The problem is that most of those good ideas only appeal to people who are not retards.  The movie industry, as well as most of the entertainment industry and consumer tech, is geared towards selling to fucking retards.  Their money spends the same as normal people; there are a lot of retards; and their tastes are predictable and reliable.

What other Canadians can we sneak in? Michael Cera as doc's adult son Verne Brown?

Take a screen shot of this post with the date.  When they make this movie they'll have to put "based on an idea by zeebo" in the credits.

Increasingly Hollywood is driven thinking of the foreign market. So easier for more "action" (violence or sex) and cheap acting melodrama easily understood and less dialogue or intricate plot-lines. (Not that foreigners are, or aren't, any more, or less, "retards" than US audiences but don't need to worry about awful dubbing as much or subtitles or confused audiences.) A few grunts by a Rambo-type, with a hot girl, and blowing stuff up can, pretty much, appeal to any audience (and if he is blowing up them, then they will watch and protest it.) So you are correct also.

Get rid of the transformers, and the critics will be forced to give it a 10/10.

Hmm you're right, I need to make them more sympathetic so they're impossible to criticize ..... I'll make them scrappy upstarts, from the tough side of town, discriminated against because of their misunderstood but good-at-heart robotic sensibilities, as demonstrated in a climactic moment of self-sacrifice.  It's so easy.

When I re-wire the robot and find that there is only Sprite (sprites?  hahah) in the firdge (I say autocorrecft!) I get lost on the way to mixing with bourbon, which incidentally interrupts my why the hell do you reefer to that line you idjet ([palin]) where wuz I oh yeah....  Not worth mentioning.

Rice Pudding.

Golden Raisins.

Currant.  Not the grape varietal of the name, but the original, damn your eyes...
