And she did win by 3 million votes.  And no one believes Trump's delusion about millions of illegal votes but Trump and his 'bots. Are you really going to support a ridiculous investigation for phantom votes we have to pay for?

1. Who is being defamed? Meister_000 is an anonymous identity. You can't defame an anonymous person.


2. How has Meister_000 been defamed by being falsely accused of making a rude phone call? You have to show how the accusation has had a negative impact on Meister's life somehow. What are the damages?


3. You have to prove that there was maliciousness behind the accusation. If Kidnostad sincerely believed that Meister was behind the phone call when he made the accusation then there was no maliciousness. You would absolutely have to prove that there was malicious intent behind kidnostad's accusation or else you don't have a case.

I don't know how many illegal votes were cast, but I do know that many were. Sometime back I posted a link that discussed two Texas counties that had 500-600 illegal votes cast and those were just found because of an audit of provisional ballots (people voting without a photo id).

We have a systemic flaw in our voter registration system. There is no requirement for proof of citizenship. Only two states are allowed to ask for proof. The others that use the federal voter registration form have been battled in court everytime they try and tighten up yhe registration process.

Motor Voter laws have made the process worse. States like California provide driver's licenses to illegal aliens.  Most states provide driver's licences to resident aliens. They are handed a voter registration form when they apply for a license. All they have to do is check the box that says they are eligible to vote - and bingo. They are registered.

California makes it even worse. Their internal procedures say if the box is not checked, then process the registration as if it is valid.

Most races aren't won or lost by millions of votes. The difference is in the hundreds and thousands for local races and congressional districts. This is where illegal voting can sway an election.

If illegal aliens, felons and dead people tended to vote Republican, this problem would have been fixed a long time ago. Guaranteed.

The federal government needs to stop taking states to court when the states try to tighten up their voter registration process and the requirements for photo id on election day.

Bullhockey. You cannot actually believe that. Try getting a job, getting government benefits or flying on a plane without a photo id. You can't get into a democrat town hall without a photo id. There have been liberal protests where they required a photo id to attend.

Three courts on Friday struck down parts of controversial voter ID requirements put in place by Republicans, with one of those courts citing “clear discriminatory intent” by lawmakers in North Carolina to shrink the franchise for politically powerful US minorities.

The other huge win was in Texas, where the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, perhaps the most conservative federal appeals court in the country, balked at the Texas voter ID law,  ordering the lower court to make it easier for people to vote.

Similar rulings followed in Wisconsin, Ohio and South Dakota. And in Kansas, a state with a foreign-born population of 6.8 percent, courts have repeatedly rejected efforts by the Republican secretary of state to require voters to provide proof of citizenship to vote.

When they were first proposed, voter ID laws sounded reasonable to lots of people, including the Supreme Court. [But] have since suggested that the proof offered subsequently in other states shows these laws are aimed at suppressing the minority vote.
