So all this talk about Obama and prison raises an interesting question: would the secret service still protect him there?

If Obama was ever actually sentenced (prosecuted, convicted, appealed, upheld, not pardoned, etc), he would surely be sent to one of the ''country club'' style ''prisons'' the big shots are sentenced to.  One with high security against outsiders, possibly a newly created luxury confinement area at an existing prison. 

Protection of former presidents is not mentioned in the Constitution, making it a prerogative of Congress.  They would likely pass a bill regarding his confinement.  Too bad sending him to a private cell block at Guantanamo Bay would be bad ''optics'', it would be fitting.  Valerie Jarrett should join him.
