Really? So why did he ask for funds when campaigning? As for beholden to no-one....now now....Vladimir might disagree with you on that one.  ;)

I guess we'll see.  :)

Did you get one from Soros?

I thought you said he only paid Democrats?

Oh no, he shows no bias as long as the people involved contribute to the general disorder and chaos.  John McCain is one of his flunkies.

Because the longtime Republicans you mention are just as corrupt as the Dems. Both have been funded by Soros. Trump funded his own campaign and is beholden to no one.

You've convinced me, but only because it makes perfect sense for Republican party officials to take money from Soros to look the other way when the Democrats are stealing elections from their candidates. Now excuse me while I go feed my griffin.

I never said he paid them to look the other way. That's your wanker conjecture. I only said he's funded their campaigns. It's on record.  ;)

The level of ineptitude is inexcusable.

The White House has published incorrect versions of President Trump’s executive orders on its official website, according to a new report.
At least five posts on the White House page do not match the official text sent to the Federal Register, USA Today said Tuesday. Two cases involved the original text referring to incorrect or non-existent provisions of law.
The other instances were less serious, it added, including minor grammatical discrepancies, missing words and paragraph renumbering.
USA Today noted that the official version of Trump’s executive order on immigration and refugees contains one of the larger errors.
A Federal Register spokesman said the version his office receives is the exact text approved by Trump and bearing his signature.
“We would never correct something that the president signs,” said Jim Hemphill, special assistant to the director of the Federal Register, which is part of the National Archives. "Once the president’s signature is on that, it’s a legal document that we would never change.”

Well then...Soros is wasting his money. It looks like Trump and his cronies have got the general disorder and chaos covered.

Trump would do well to bring in Newt to straighten some things out.

He needs the gravitas that Newt would bring to the administration.  Newt is a well-respected intellectual and would fill the void appropriately.

Oh? Trump is going to do it all by himself. He said so. On a more serious not; I've seen governments from all sides, both in the UK and the USA, mess stuff up in their tenure. It happens, sometimes they really really mess up. But I can't recall a minister or secretary being forced to resign because they were deemed a security risk by the spooks. For the Trump circus to be told that he was a few weeks ago, but only got round to getting rid now, is beyond incompetence.

Yesterday Trump said he had 'full confidence' in Flynn; yet a few hours later he was forced to go. Not even a month in, and things are looking very very crap for Trump. That is evident by his tweet about the 'real story' being about leaks from the WH! I think its less leaks as more cries for help by the staffers!

Nothing new.  It happened in other administrations but just wasn't subject to the intense scrutiny of the internet-based environment in which we live today.

So you say. I know nothing about that book.  I've observed Newt for decades as he was my representative for much of the time.  He has his faults but he has a superb brain.  There is no better mind in DC.

I really think he's entrenched in the old guard of McCain et al. They're just warhawks who don't a fuck about the middle class Trump's trying to restore. They were happier (and better paid off) with the old globalist plan of worldwide serfdom.  ;)

We'll have to agree to disagree.  Newt is no McCain.  He's a conservative who truly understands the Constitution and our other founding documents.

Or not.

"Let me as be unequivocal as possible-allegations of voter fraud in NH are baseless, without any merit-it's shameful to spread these fantasies," tweeted Tom Rath, a prominent New Hampshire Republican who worked on the presidential campaigns of former President George W. Bush and 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

"I will pay $1,000 to first person proving even one out of state person took bus from MA to any NH polling place last Election Day" -- Fergus Cullen, former chairman of the New Hampshire Republicans.

Hey, I voted 4 times in NH myself.  Went all the way up to Dixville  Notch so I could be the first to commit voter fraud.  Where do I pick up my money?

The political philosopher Hannah Arendt has written that the hyper-nationalism of totalitarianism depends on “an atomized and individualized mass”. Meanwhile, the demonstrations against Trump create the exact opposite: a public united along multiple and varied causes, ready and mobilized for action.

The one who appears alone and atomized in this drama is actually Donald Trump. He is the one with a constant need to demonstrate his might, to harp neurotically on his win, to belittle others and aggrandize himself. But rather than consolidating his strength, these actions disarm Trump’s power. No American president has looked weaker and pettier to such a large number of people and governments across the globe.

Trump wants us to be afraid. I’m mostly just embarrassed.

Ask Trump where he thinks the treasurer is. He has the evidence. He said so. :)

Probably nothing in it, but apparently Kelly Anne Conway has been unfollowed by the senior WH staff on twatter.. :-\

When Mr Trump was named as President-elect in November, the odds of him not making it through the full four-year term were 3/1 with Ladbrokes.

Now, following a chaotic three weeks, the odds have shortened to just 11/10.

Jessica Bridge, a spokeswoman for Ladbrokes, said: "Trump says he'll get the job done, but the money suggests otherwise, and punters aren't entirely convinced the next four years will be plain sailing and he could be out of the White House via impeachment or resignation sooner rather than later."

Paddy Power has the odds of President Trump resigning at 15/8, with the chances of him being impeached in 2017 are 4/1.

Newt is the smartest one in the room bar none.  He should have been president at some point.  He would have beaten Obama in 2012.

Are you high right now? I seriously doubt it or that he could ever win president. He had a big win against Clinton in the 94 midterms but had likability issues, if I remember correctly. After that you really didn't hear from him much until recently.
