Man, that is something I totally agree with you. Something even like not liking an actor or any entertainer because of political views I just find so odd. Heck I don't agree with Clint Eastwood politically but his work in film either actor or director is total gold and I can't wait for Sully to come out next month and I don't care how liberal the lead actor Tom Hanks is or how conservative director Eastwood is, they are both favorites of mine.... Don't tell any of my liberal friends but I actually find Dennis Miller funny at times....... *at timnes* lol and I think I was the only person he didn't hate him on MNF.

Interesting.  Their platform is pretty good and I'd be tempted to bolt to it provided it could have enough influence in national elections.  I do have a few quibbles with it but they are fairly minor.  We'll see what shakes out.  A popular movement needs to be started though and it would have to be led by a recognizable figure.

That is true and I applaud most of those efforts.  Most people agree that there were a lot of wrongs that needed to be corrected back in those days.  Anti-war messages are timeless though and it is funny that you should mention The Day The Earth Stood Still.  Reagan sort of wished we had a TDTESS scenario where the Russians and the Americans teamed up to defeat the intrusive aliens.  Stanley Kramer made many films that had a political message and many of them are fantastic.

Its not those films that I have a problem with.  Penn made a film called Fair Game with Naomi Watts that basically glorified Valerie Jarrett and Joe Wilson.  It was pure propaganda and that is the sort of thing that disturbs me.  Another recent film that was pure pap was Truth with Robert Redford about that courageous reporter, Dan Rather, and his efforts to topple Bush.  What were the ramifications of these efforts? Rather embarrassed himself and his career suddenly died.

Was wondering what Webster Tarpley was saying these days about the election so checked out a WCR broadcast after the DNC selection. Pretty funny stuff with advice about how to support Hillary against "Trump the Fascist" and criticizing Bernie supporters as doom and gloom and bitter people. Then a bit of his former LaRouche connections sprung their head as we went off on a tangent on "perfide Albion" and was linking some devious intrigues in China to the English. Interesting his main talking points on how to attack Trump, basically all adhominm attacks, is being used by the DNC and their media:
1) call him a NAZI or Fascist
2) call him out on his mental health (he is crazy or unstable)
3) criticize the Middle Class and small business owners (Tarpley says they are "crazed." Billary hasn't gone that far but just said they need to pay more taxes.)
4) politics of life-or-death ("do you want to live or die?" Billary for life and with Trump you die because you will be "incinerated in a thermo-nuclear fireball")

Yeah. What is sometimes funny though is he is educated so his rants and CTs can be fun. Also shows that degrees even from prominent institutions doesn't mean you can't be nuts. Arguably,  at least LaRouche was able to have some organiztion (or cult) and hold it together, in the past at least.
