I was going to make a thread about this, but since you brought it up I will put it up here. Do you not notice something odd with A LOT of Trump twitter supporters. The thing that first caught my eye was the unusual amount of attractive 20-something year old profile photos of women who are pro Trump. I mean how are they all over twitter but you never hear this demo calling talk radio or in Fox news demo statistics?  First I didn't think much of it and just ignored it, but then I took a second look and they all seem exactly the same.

Profile photo of an attractive woman in her 20s, bio/banner praising Trump. No other link to other social media accounts (No facebook/Instagram) 100% of tweets either praising Trump/bashing Hillary/ national political views so far right it sounds like KingofKings. These "women" never have a movie review, go to a sporting event, comment on a TV show, they never go to a concert or have an opinion on any current music. They have no local friends, they don't talk to their family on twitter, they don't talk about going to any local event or have opinion on local storie and also no selfies or other pictures of themselves on twitter with friends or family or at events. So you telling me we are suppose to believe that there's a bunch of attractive 20 year old attractive women who is spending countless hours during the summer online retweeting pro trump tweets and anti Hillary tweets and giving constant opinion on "read meat" Right wing political talking points.

Something just smells fishy, this isn't just a couple of them, there are hundreds of them out there, all following the same pattern, and I was just talking about the "attractive female" there's also the common "black guy for Trump" and "Hispanic girl for Trump"  and of course the "Bernie fan who know loves Trump" which all follow the same suspicious pattern I mentioned above. What really sad is some of these people have thousands of followers, and I figure it bots/fakes following bots/fakes to pad the numbers, but I am sure some genuine Trump fans are too, which is just so sad. There's even been speculation out there that some of the more famous pro-Trump accounts out there (that's been posted on here) is actually the same person working a bunch of accounts.

There's been some interesting articles about Trump bots, one interesting piece brought to light Trump high "retweet/like/replies" for all his tweets. They studied it and showed that many Pro-Trump accounts would tweet Trump less than 5-seconds after he tweets at times with memes and with generic words of praise. Which of course it's humanly impossible to get notified a tweets was made, read it, type out a response, and at times find and add a meeme. All in under 5 seconds. The only conclusion is there a bunch of spam bots throwing pro Trump stuff out there. Some article below study this.

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/433870/donald-trumps-twitter-supporters-might-be-fake Trump twitter supporters might be fake

This is the same group that spammed the post debate polls. I mean even on The Blaze they had Trump winning the debates which is next to impossible. If you've ever been on online dating sites (I have) - it is loaded with fake profile bikini clad early 20's females that have empty profiles that point to an online pay hookup service. It's like the Trump campaign picked up a couple of these fake profile maker guys and employed them to create fake twitter accounts. All they need is a guy that goes out on a spring break and takes pics of girls.

Please name a political show young attractive 20-something year old women are calling into?

I think that is the point. They aren't and they probably aren't for Trump either.

Trump needs to get off this Khan crap.  He's killing his campaign before Hillary has a chance to try.  You heard it here.  I said Hillary was going to get a bump and with Trump shooting himself in the foot, it is quite the bump indeed. He needs to listen to his advisers and take some advice every now and then.  I'm embarrassed by the disrespect that Trump is giving to a family that lost their son in the wars overseas.  I don't care if they are Muslim, White, Hispanic, Black, Oriental.  All of our soldiers and their families deserve respect for what they have sacrificed.

Finally a political job that sounds fun. Though I'm guessing Roger Stone has already be hired for this position.

ps: much of the Facebook, Twitter, etc world is faked friends, likes, and followers. Hollywood stars do it and I'm sure politicians do. And even when they are real people it is just a matter, as I understand, clicking a button, hardly really being friends or showing strong loyalty/support.

Yes, Trump has rightly earned "The Wrath of Khan" and the contempt of every other American who feels respect and pride where members of the military and their families are concerned. And as you indicate, the whole controversy is the height of stupidity for any serious candidate to get involved with.

I know you've rationalized voting for him on the basis of future Supreme Court picks, but can you even trust him to do that much? And how much harm will he do in-between nominating Supreme Court justices? There's bad (Hillary) and then there's worse (Trump).

Khan put his family in play when he made the inexplicable decision to carry water for one of the people who voted for the war which killed his son. I'll agree that Trump should let it lie. Khan got his fifteen minutes of fame, and we all have more important things to deal with. but to suggest Trump doesn't have the right to defend himself against a smear is wrong. BTW, Khan was wrong anyway. Nothing in the Constitution prohibits a religious test for immigrants.

What a hoot to see the Left discover a respect for the military they have never managed to express before.

Trump might be considered the "right wing nominee" but there's little evidence he will support right wing causes should he be elected. His past behavior has shown his views are erratic and ephemeral, subject to change at whim and opportunity. His role as the current Republican nominee is to act conservative, but...eh, that could change.

The thing that is frustrating, and good, about Trump is that he doesn't know politics and he is, like most politicians, very egotistical- but unlike politicians doesn't have handlers that will listen to or obey. For good or ill. Hillary, for example, very controlling, egotistical but her handlers advise no press conference and no contact with people. So control, a bit, the message and not let her true colors show. Trump should've responded to the Muslim soldiers death and the obvious hypocrisy by the DNC by:
1) I'm sorry and saddened by your soldier son's death at the hands of fellow Muslims.
2) I was against the war and against the way we engaged and destabilized the Middle East, unlike Hillary, who voted for the war and is continuing support to arm radical Muslims.
3) And end by showing how Obama, and Hillary promises to continue and expand, wants to import radical and unidentified, unvetted Muslims into our country and what is happening in Europe, and here, and, apparently, at least inadvertently, possibly by design (maybe don't go there,) by "refugee" and "asylum" policies, encourage what happened to your son that such bombings and terrorist actions happen here with even more frequency.
Good night.

And in response to Fareed Zakaria's statements:
The token Muslim's rude statements on the Clinton News Network advocated the Iraq War because "any stirring of the pot is good. America's involvement in the region is for the good." And how wrong he was in the resulting chaos, expansion of terrorism and the most radical of Islam, and I was against the war. He has no credibility and the FCC should look into his use of profanity over the public airwaves and instead cover the dumped Clinton emails and the support for arms deals and support for the same radical Muslims now committing atrocities in Europe and even here in the USA.
Good night.

The guy is an immigration lawyer, specializing in Muslim immigration.  He of course knew he was misrepresenting (read:  lying about) Trump's positions on Muslim immigration.  He puts himself in the political area, and goes on the attack, he deserves what he gets.

That said, Trump is still an idiot.  He isn't going to win counterpunching this time.  He played right into the HilHag's hands.  What he should have said was some version of he's sorry the father was misinformed by the media about what his positions are, blamed them, and let it go.

I wonder if that interview he did about Khan was that 3D chess everybody talking about ;) I heard about shooting yourself in the foot, but what Trump did was pretty much grabbed a rope and made a knot for himself, just stupid. First off, questioning any grieving troops parents will never work in your favour, even if you are in the right. It just doesn't work. Of course Trump being Trump had to go one step beyond and give a religious cheat shot on the soldiers poor mom for being silent. That is something a twitter troll would do, but for a Presidential candidate is so absurd. Especially in most cases when we see a grieving family there is a family spokesperson and other family members surrounding him giving moral support, for Trump to go right to the religious card instead of thinking it might be the she's shy, or not comfortable speaking in front of large group. Just looks so bad on him, he judged her, when she literally didn't open her mouth.

The Khan thing overshadowed a bit the other flop he did on the interview, but certainly twitter caught it with the day long #Trumpsacrifice. Saying that him paying a wage to his workers is right up there with "Romney 47% in the dumb rich white guy comment category. That is not how economics or capitalism work. Giving a wage is not a sacrifice and receiving a wage is not a charity. The workers are exchanging their time and body for money. Those building aren't being build or staffed on their own. Trump can't brag about how much power and money he has and then claim paying somebody a wage is a sacrifice. It shows how little he thinks for the working man. I am surprised the Dems didn't really jump on this like they did the 47% thing. But I guess they rather focus on Gold Star soldier grieving mom being attacked. Both were giant goofs on his part.

Yup, but I would say at least there's a well known culture of SJW liberal chicks out there, so it wouldn't be too surprising to see them on twitter (even though I would also be suspicious if they follow the pattern I mentioned in the previous page) It's even more unusual when there is no real big culture of young female hardcore conservative, not saying there's none out there, I am sure there are, just no where near the numbers you see on twitter. They all seem to have the pattern I mention of no other interest except politics, it comes off as very "off". I just also think it's sad that so many Trump supporters are following them like their real.

Speaking of fake I used to believe anybody photographed with a Trump had, had to be legit. Then it came to my attention a bunch of those photos are having hats photoshoped on them. One real famous aggressive Trump supporters has a photo of a boy from Spain with a photoshoped Trump hat as his profile picture. For what reason, I have no idea.

Yeah. He needs to keep control and be hitting not responding to the DNC's media. And still can funny cute twitters but not in defense. Start new angles (for the Muslim Khan thing response 'bad loss, sorry for his death and thankful for his service, Hillary voted to send your brave son there to be killed by fellow Muslims. I was against that. Next question?)

He should just stay on message and forget the Clinton, Neo-con, Brzezinski, Kissinger wing in both Parties and say I care about our country first. Second, I care about our allies but they must pay fair share and control their border and fix their immigration, "refugee," and "asylum" policies, as we must. Point out the people Obama (and the politicians in European countries) and Shrillary wants to increase and their crimes and violence.) We also need to address selling arms (or funneling them secretly to Muslim and other radical groups and countries and point out the Billlary emails and corruption in the arms trade, historically, to the Saudis (UK BIG example.) With regard to Russian, who now, after the Cold War is over (if you buy that), that the Left is now bringing back: what about those voice mails over the Ukraine ("fuck them") or the support for stuff? Or why, pray-tell, we would accept a Scot vote or, maybe though it seems we don't, a Brexit, but the vote in Crimea is "unacceptable?" Bizarre logic, even by UN doctrine of "self-determination" and "rights of peoples?" Russian could, at least until Bush 1 and Bill 1, been an ally. Common enemy, for sometime China, Muslim radicals, etc. Instead we BOMB the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade! And have, according to many reports, an almost higher "Cuban Missile Crisis" level event at the airport in Pristina? To support Muslim radicals, terrorists, and criminal syndicates?  :o

+1000++

The Trump campaign is in shambles.  He just 'FIRED!' two more advisors. I wouldn't be surprised to see his remaining staff walk out in a mutiny. Trump is a public relations nightmare. Like watching a train wreck in slow motion. I feel sorry for the lifelong Republicans who've watched their party's respect and influence slip away, and it's not as if the Democratic Party is a solid alternative.

Trump is about as right wing as Hillary is.  The only thing that makes him a somewhat more tolerable alternative than her is his stance on illegal immigration and his promise to pick originalist court nominees.

I just can't ever rationalize voting for Hillary.  The reek of corruption coming from her is just too much.  I'm very libertarian  in many ways but Johnson and Weld really aren't libertarian on many issues. There is Jill Stein also.  I actually like her positions on some issues like GMO's but she is too liberal for me when it comes to other issues.  So that leaves Trump.  I don't want to vote for the guy and I've been straddling the fence in my support for him.  My legs and torso are on his side of the fence but my head really isn't.
I haven't ruled out not voting for him but he is really going to have screw things up to lose my vote. My only alternative is simply to write in a candidate or vote for whoever is running on the Constitutionalist Party ticket.
