I'm not an avid Trump supporter.  As I've said before this election is a choice between a hershey squirt and a shart, either way it won't be pretty.  I've always thought Trump was in it to throw it away to Hillary.  I'm starting to root for the Giant Meteor.

*sigh* So this photo been passed around all day yesterday saying this is the crowd at a Trump rally. The second I looked at it I thought something was fishy about it. Unfortunately Twitter Trump supporters had no problem passing it around as their BS meter seems to be on extended summer vacation. Breitbart even posted it before taking it down. BTW the photo was from the Cleveland Cavs NBA championship parade.

Today was the first time I have seen some Trump supporters (not many but one or two) actually speaking out against the Trump-bots out there. I talked about Trump-bots before as these twitter accounts that are super aggressive for Trump/anti-Hillary but don't seem to have any other human personality about them. There are some Trump fans (who do seem like real  people) getting a bit annoyed that these Trump bots continue passing obvious false information and obvious photoshop photos and making the entire supporters of Trump look dumb.

Well said, it has to be one or the other. Forget Trump and Hillary, forget Republican or Democrat. But just count the times Trump does something that seems like such a bad move to do in an election. Everything from, kicking a baby and mother out because of crying, dissing a gold star family, saying your VP endorsed the other guy because he felt forced by establishment (ie weak-minded) and recently opening talking about nuclear weapons when one of the general public big concerns is his temperament. Does anybody dear to do that after Johnson/Goldwater (if this continues, we might be getting close to that territory)

New Trump supporter (you're not helping) moment today. As we know yesterday at Pence rally a military mother was booed and taken out of the rally. Today during a Trump rally in Maine  a few people stood up in silent and showed a pocket sized constitution, they were booed and removed from the area. HOLY F*CK!! Remember when Cruz said "Vote your conscious and vote for somebody who will defend the constitution" and the RNC full of Trump supporters automatically thought that was an attack on Trump, and now booing and kicking out people for simply showing the constitution. What has the GOP have come to!? Remember Fox poll had Hillary over Trump 49% to 42% on who will preserve and protect the constitution. The REPUBLICANS are the ones now who seem to hate the constitution and it's leader the one who doesn't respect it. WOW... If Trump's advisors are blithely slapping him on the shoulder and telling him to continue with his spontaneous 'zingers' then he should give them all the well known "You're fired!"  and replace the team with people like we see on this forum.  People like albricht and 21'st Century, and others like RealCool (surprise, though I doubt he would take the job)...and myself too, come to think of it.  lol  I think that we could do a bang up job of pointing Trump in the right direction...at least make the contest a bit more interesting.   

If, on the other hand, Trump is paying no attention to good, albeit 'paid' advice, then all is lost.  If he continues to shoot his mouth off then he is doing nothing more than paving the way for an easy Clinton victory.  Imagine Hillary going on and on about her email problems, or her and Bill's foundation.  Those are about the only subjects that could cause her to shoot her own foot, but of course she has wisely remained silent. 

I just wish I could spend five minutes with Donald and tell him to just stfu with vocalizing what ever pops into his mind.  Stick with what got him to this point in the first place...border security and the dangers of terrorism.  My god, he could certainly throw the terrorist problem into the spotlight on a daily basis if he wanted too.  But no, he comes off sounding like a complete asshole, complaining about a crying baby and all.

A good friend of mine thinks that Trump and Hillary are much more similar than different. He continues with "the powers that be, the money people, would like either one because they will both favor wall street. However, Hillary will be given a wider latitude with spending."

And how people are so invested psychologically to a candidate (hint unless you are a very rich donor to Foundations, business, or campaigns the millionaire/billionaire politicians don't really care about you- whether Hillary or Trump) and even causing problems within friends and families. Ugh, I don't understand why many people can't be friends or at least tolerate with people with different views?

Maybe this mess is the culmination of the decades of abuse of our system by both parties. The same system that made us the country of choice for generations of people fleeing oppression.

The voters are to blame as well- too many stand by someone who has done nothing to deserve their trust. This applies to both sides. Both party leaderships use the voters then ignore most of them when they don't need them any longer.

I never thought I'd ever see something like this happen, but it seems to be a trend in our society. Re-treds, sequels, same old worn out ideas and people. Trump is a new element and not a member of one of the 'ruling families', so he may have attracted the people who desperately want someone new. Someone to listen to their concerns and understand that many are barely hanging on. The media and activists do everything they can to stir up more conflict.

I don't think the Republican leadership expected the people to reject their chosen one, Jeb! Like we needed another Bush - it's only been 8 years since the last one. They don't seem to understand that many people don't want an 'it's my turn' candidate. Same goes for the Dems and Hillary.

This is how I imagined politics in some third world country, not the world's only super power.
