To PK, I didn't mention Soros. So what? How does that change the argument?

If you want to retain any credibly at all in your "argument," perhaps you could show me some facts where the Koch brothers have financed anything like what Soros does, or did this past weekend, with threats of more to follow?

At least the Koch brothers are US citizens and have actual skin in the game here. Soros and his ilk are just international rabble rousers who HATE THIS COUNTRY.

Now, examples please or are you just talking out your liberal ass?

The fact people go to events to protest does not surprise me. The fact that cops really did nothing to help people does not surprise me. MSM showing the same small fights over and over does not surprise me. People thinking this is going to effect Trump voters does surprise me!!1
I think it could solidify his people.  I am wondering what the protesters think they are actually accomplishing by taking such action.

It's like thinking the cops are acting improperly and naming your group 'BLACK Lives Matter'.  If they really want the entire nation to get behind them they should should be naming the group as inclusively as possible.  Subconsciously people see 'black' and think 'that's not me so I'll ignore it'.

I also would like to bring up the protests at Ferguson and New York, actually even in the 60's.  These things start out locally and peacefully for usually the first two days and then there are reports of busloads of out of towners coming in at which point things start going downhill and become violent.

There seems to be a small element of violent people in the country who often go to peaceful marches to be sure that no peace/understanding happens between police and the 'community'.  The only people that I can see who would benefit from such unrest are criminal gangs.

Lest we forget even former foreigners like Soros give a lot of money. And Hollywood and Tech moguls. Just about everybody 'pays to play.' I agree with you that it is not NRA, PP, NARAL, etc that corrupts politicians and people do have the right to represent their interests via voting or giving money to groups or politicians. Since, somehow, our courts have considered corporations legal "people" I'm not sure how we can stop it without some serious reform, which is not likely to be passed. The "Iron Triangle" is pretty hard to change or beat and neither side in the two party system enjoy it and voters, usually, blame "the other guys, not MY representative" so won't change anything.
The Kochs habitually outspend Soros.  Not even close.  Soros has spent less than a tenth of what the Kochs have spent during this election.  Both are wrong in my book.

It seems you're willing to overlook George Soros, another billionaire who has donated millions in this cycle and actually helped fund and plan what happened in Chicago last week. He is out front taking credit for it and says there's more to come. But he's on the Democrat's side, so that makes it okay, hmmm?

Oh, and I was using PP and the NRA purely as an example from each side.
No.  We should get money and bribes out of the system.  No exceptions.

I don't hear anyone defending Soros.  The thing is that no big money on either side should be buying our candidates.

There are lots of people that gain through the street action violence of these leftist groups and the open border. Firstly it help divide people so that blacks are against white, women against men, illegals against citizens, police versus "civilians," more aggrandizement of power to the Federal government who must "step in" to control the situation, investigate the "racist" cops, etc. This weakens the country and also helps spur fear so that people might vote a certain way, accept more civil rights crackdowns, more spending or militarization of the police, opportunities for fraud, government contracts, and the division also encourages/reinforces "identity" political voting which benefits a certain Party, etc. And, for those, who harbor ill-will, or some grudge, towards the country it helps weaken it.

It's not the degree of violence that anyone should sweat at this point. It's the fact that the candidate himself is encouraging it. You're willing to cut him a break at this point, but we'll see how you feel when the violence gets worse. It will as we get closer to the convention. And the convention threatens to be a bloody mess, inside and out.

yeah,  we'll see how i feel when five more fights break out in a string of rallies that total half a million spectators thus far.

The Koch brothers have been pointed out to be spending over 800 billion dollars in this election cycle. That isn't free speech, no matter how you try to spin it. That is big oil gaming the system.

yeah, well, a lot of good it's done them.  check the roster of fallen candidates.

i wonder how much soros has pumped into this cycle...

You're pretty blasé, but then you're too young to remember 1968. It's all fun and games until the shit hits the fan. IOW, this is not a reality show, this is reality.

Ben Carson will be our next Surgeon General.

Not a cult at all...nope.

I'm glad the Media so openly despises Trump, its clear to anyone with half a functioning brain cell  that the main stream press is controlled by corporate elites who hate Trump.

Perhaps I was a bit harsh, but Goddamnit why do they only bring up the right wing money people when there are plenty on the left too? Soros is a nasty sore on our ass, yet onan didn't think to include him in his criticisms and I just get tired of my side always being criticized!

How's that?
