The problem is that when Trump blurted something to "the masses," it was just to win their votes by saying what they wanted to hear. For example, when he said he was going to "drain the swamp," did the masses think he'd refill it with billionaires and Wall Streeters to run his administration?

We've never had businessmen in charge of our government before, so this is just my opinion: Wealthy businessmen do not come up with policies that will benefit the working classes at the expense of their fellow rich people.

These Mexicans come to the US illegally and drive down the market value of labor and are willing to work for 1/4 of the wage.  They then send that money back to Mexico.  Literally the second biggest income for Mexicans in Mexico is money sent from relatives in the US.

You kick these illegals out, and keep manufacturing jobs in the US it is better for all citizens in the US.

Mexico being the great country and culture that it is, can no doubt create a wondrous country without the economic income from the US.

Not to belabor the point but your choice of a user name is also instructive.  You obviously identify with the little boy in the story Sredni Vishtar who suffered from emotional abuse by a twisted aunt.  (Of course all liberal zealots see themselves as one kind of victim or another whether or not their perceived victimhood has any basis in reality.). Most often they gravitate towards socialism because ostensibly it offers them a fantastically idealistic society in which everyone shares the wealth equally no matter what their actual contribution to the creation of that wealth.  In the story, the boy conjures up a malevolent spirit, Sredni Vishtar, who takes the form of a weasel and kills the hated aunt in a bloody attack.  Given the above, the hatred that you so readily exhibit and the vehemence of your rantings it's not hard to imagine that you have sinister intentions.  (You'll notice how I triggered such a response repeatedly in today's exchange of emails.). Of course I could be all wrong about this and you may be just a native Brit maladapt with an obstreperous nature and a cherished sense of victimhood. (Read left wing nut).
