Assuming the agenda is not more nefarious and this stuff wasn't intended  ;) I would considered the CIA, and some other agencies, pretty incompetent at times. Various Muslims were "on our radar" yet still allowed to practice their peace in Boston, California, etc. Elohim City was "on the radar,"

If terrorist suspects in the USA are dealt with the same as in the UK (and I suspect, from various interviews with the top brass here, they are, and the information is shared) it boils down to the amount of resources the (name alphabet agency) can put into the surveilance of those on 'the radar'. Knowing you have 2000 suspects between Europe and the USA doesn't mean you know where they all are 24/7.

There simply isn't the personel or resources to do it. And even if, say you can pin a dozen agents (to avoid the target pinging just one or two) on the top one hundred, that is a lot of agents, a lot of resources and no guarantee of success in the end. You can write the headlines. "CIA admits they spent $1billion and still a bomb went off".

No mention that they prevented another ten being detonated, and as a result, many hundreds of people didn't get killed and injured. No mention that the agents probably put themselves in very great danger by infiltrating a cell of terrorists, possbly for years.

This from earlier this year.

Good job. But very racist and likely would not be allowed here, lest we offend or "profile." As I said I'm sure lots of plots have been stopped but at the same time, at least under this current administration, we have allowed our agencies to spy on US citizens, Congress, etc but have directed agencies that looking at social media accounts of emigrants from Muslim lands was verboten. And infiltration of mosques was prohibited. Profiling based on known threats was illegal. Harass the old white grandma as much as the 18 year old Muslim traveling on cash with a one-way ticket. TSA audit show miserably failures to find weapons etc. The border remains open and VISAs are allowed to be over-stayed (one of the first logical thing to deal with if one is really concern with security) and people who were caught, even those with previous criminal convictions or gang affiliations, are released "with a promise to reappear in court for a hearing at a later date." A Muzzie in the Army was allowed to correspond with radical Imams and was simply transferred to a base where he committed his peace and other soldiers were not allowed to be armed and it was called "workplace violence." Social media, local cops, and foreign governments, at times, warned about some of the peaceful Muslims (like in Boston) but nothing done until after they practiced their peace at the marathon, lest we offend. Not to mention all of the foreign policy blunders or misassessments by various agencies despite budgets almost unlimited.

God I love it when the badly vanquished left continues to underestimate its opposition (commonly referred to as the forces for good in the world.)  They just are not getting it.  Trump refuses to submit himself to the tender mercies of the MSM and obstructionists in congress in order to keep the facts straight.   In the face of flagrant misrepresentation, false inferences, and outright lies he chooses to go directly to the people with his message.  Of course his political enemies understand that this unconventional tactic could not possibly work.  The unwashed and unschooled masses cannot be trusted with information that is not filtered through the MSM regarding events, controversies and policy that effect their lives.  This is the same MSM that told us that DT had a 10% chance of beating Hilliary and is renowned for its objective reporting.

Obama is spending his final days in office making the rounds in an effort to convince Americans that he hasn't been an indolent place holder for the past 8 years and actually accomplished something (other than that which worked to the detriment of the Nation) between vacations and golf rounds.  At  the same time, Democrats in Congress are vowing to block Trump's every move.  One can easily see that Dems who are currently sporting chapped asses are stuck in the campaign mode rather than in the cooperation mode.    This being case, it becomes a simple matter IF SO THEN.  Not really hard to understand.

Say, how are they going to build the wall around Florida? Asking for the Midwest.

I still want to know exactly what Putin did to make John Podesta use "password" as his password.  Of course, we learned from the Panama Papers that the Podestas were actively in business with the Russians, so maybe Putin required him to use that password.

The televised senate meeting yesterday with the heads of three security services was all made up then? And Trump is the only one with a sense of reality? I see.

Exactly how do you define objective reporting? Trump's tweets when he mocks the CIA, or later when he said he's a fan of the CIA? Trump's tweets in 2010 when he said Assange should be imprisoned, the one a few days ago when Assange was a good guy, or the day after when he said he'd been misquoted? And you said you were a military officer? Really? Which department? Entertainment brigade?

I think he was being a little economical with the actualite there. He was a camp follower. Very camp, so the rumour goes. He was the one that had to wear the blonde wig when they got lonely in the middle of the night.

If those are the highlights, thanks for making my point.

Wouldn't any senator from NY have pushed a 9/11 bill through?  Which of the various bills are you referring to?  The other NY Senator at the time was Chuck Schumer, what I remember was he and the NY House delegation pushing through the early bills, with newbie Senator Hilary Clinton tagging along.  What I also recall was her being booed and heckled by a crowd of first responders.  The James Zadroga Act (health program for first responders) was passed and signed January 2011, long after she left the Senate - as a Media darling and the likely nominee to succeed Obama, Big Media somehow gave her a good deal of credit for that bill.

I would say the Iran deal is perhaps our worst treaty, agreement, whatever you want to call it, in the history of our country.  We'll regret this.  I don't even feel like going through that again just now.

The US doesn't really negotiate cease fires between Israel and their enemies, they use our good offices as a nation they both trust when they both want a short term deal.  In other words, when Hamas, the PA, etc, want to regroup and stop Israel's retaliations for whatever recent atrocities they've committed, they call the US Secretary of State - whoever that may be at the time.

The rest are either minor bills, or are typical Democrat talking points.

Well, Chuck Schumer himself is the one who said: "Hillary Clinton was instrumental in helping secure $21 billion in federal aid to help New York rebuild after 9/11. She fought tooth and nail to protect the first responders who rushed into danger when the towers collapsed and was pivotal in the passage of legislation that helped those first responders who got sick get the care and treatment they deserved."

Your comment about the Iran deal is just your opinion, so I guess informed people can disagree.

I don't really know how cease-fires are put together, but Hillary did get some credit for it.

Obama is building a wall around the house he is buying in the tony DC neighborhood.

What's good for Obama is good for us.  We just want to keep the riff-raff out of our country.  Obama wants the same thing for his house.  Be consistent, Barry.

You're a liar, and I hope you die screaming in agony, alone.

Why, because of my criticism of alt-right websites? There's a good reason why "mainstream news" is mainstream, and the other stuff is just fringe.

Not where that historically singular act of unilateral capitulation is concerned.  Remember what Good Time  Barry from Chitown and Kerry told us it would be as opposed to the doomed-to-failure pay out it turned out to be.   That one act of betrayal alone will ensure that Obama will go down in history as the Benedict Arnold of the modern age.

Hey did you ever wonder if anyone ever walked up to Kerry and asked "Hey John, why the long face?"
