How many jobs has Trump created?  And Hilary?

I've never understood this argument. Hillary has been a public servant. Donald is a businessman, and businesses need employees to make profits for their owners. Even a sweatshop owner creates jobs.

... Bill Clinton was a very popular president...

He was so popular the Republicans won the House for the first time in 50 after the first two years of the Clintons - the first election after Clinton's term began, the first opportunity we had (You know, like Obama losing the House the first election after we saw what he was).  The Senate went from being 57-43 Democrat to 52-48 Republican that same year, a swing of 9 seats.  In 1994 the Democrats were defending 22 Senate seats, and lost 9 of them.

By the end of his term, we'd added a new phrase to the language:  Clinton Fatigue.

I'm sure he was popular in LA though.  And in the Media.  And with those willing to deal with corrupt politicians.

Of course you don't.  Otherwise you wouldn't be voting for the Party of Government.

Once again, Trump tries to take the heat from his public humiliation tomorrow by threatening Toyota into not putting their Corolla plant in Mexico. No matter that they already employ about 130000 in the US anyway. This naturally brought a dip in their share price...Trump of course being tbe astute businessman, knows the shareholders come first and if Toyota suffer a dip of any significant degree over a period of time, then belts must be tightened.. Yes Donny, lay offs happen. And they won't be in Japan or the UK.

He's of course suggested import tarrifs if they're built in Mexico, oh bless him. Guess which next big company will be e-mailing the Whitehouse for tax breaks if he tries that one?

... Hillary has been a public servant...

That's wrong too.  Just because a bunch of greedy hacks figure out how to get themselves elected or appointed, doesn't make them ''public servants''.  Another canard from the Fake News bull-shitters.

What has she ever done for anyone that wasn't in her own self interest?

You cannot be this naïve, it's simply not possible.

Haha! Well, I was for Hillary so I do have a more positive view of the Clinton Foundation. But if I may, I know that many people simply disliked Hillary because they thought she rode her husband's coattails into elected office. (This is a separate issue from whatever underhanded things people thought she did, based on the nonsense in alt-right websites.)

Hillary actually was an achiever and a notable figure in her own right, well before she even met Bill. She was among five recent college graduates featured in Time magazine in 1969. She spent her law career advocating for children and families!

I know people think she's greedy for power. It takes a certain amount of hubris to run for president, because you're saying you can run things better than anyone else. In Hillary's case, I think she wanted to be president because she felt she could do some good.

Neither do I. But unlike me, your personal religious beliefs cloud your understanding of the basic health needs of others...

We have to be religious to be against abortion?  How about partial-birth abortion?

Do we have to be religious to think Kermit Gosnell was an evil monster?  Is there a line beyond which ''religious'' people won't cross, but the rest of us have no qualms about?

That is not the case for those who have followed her career and detest her.  I doubt very much that was the reason for more than a handful of people who voted against her.  It's just an excuse for those who can't accept the facts.

I've been begging for someone to please show me a list of her accomplishments since at least her 2008 run for president.  I welcome anything you can provide - First Lady, US Senator, Secretary of State, surely there are numerous accomplishments worthy of a person running for president, I'm looking forward to seeing anything you have.

Based on your posts, an impressive list should just roll off the tongue.

We're going to have to disagree.  I see a person with zero ethics, poor judgment, worse instincts, no accomplishments, no visible leadership abilities, and as dishonest and corrupt as a person can possibly be.  And that's the short list.

If she ''wanted to do some good', she's had ample opportunity, and... nothing.

Pay attention Paper Boy. My post was about the GOP's intention to cut Planned Parenthood, while simultaneously dismantling the ACA, and potentially devastating invaluable woman's health care services. Since Planned Parenthood doesn't provide "partial-birth abortions", your attempt to insert an incendiary topic and a convicted criminal into the discussion is irrelevant. Try to keep up.

Doh! It looks like Donald was also just kidding when he promised his followers Mexico was going to pay for that wall. It turns out we taxpayers will be footing the bill! What a shocker!

"We want President Trump to have all the tools he needs to build the wall," Scalise said. "We're in talks with him on the details of it as they're still putting together their team. We still got a few months before there's another funding bill that's going to move. We're going to work with him to make sure we can get it done. We want to build a wall. He wants to build a wall."

Well by all means give Trump whatever he needs to build his wall. In fact, since the cost will likely run into billions of dollars just write him a blank check signed, The American Taxpayers. What could go wrong? Other items on the federal budget like healthcare, jobs, infrastructures, etc. can just wait. Bend over and hold on, people.

You seem to have reading comprehension issues and don't know the difference between an opinion piece and facts. Did you read the quotes I included from Scalise? The fact is, the taxpayers will be paying for the wall. Trump and his GOP cronies can't wait to get their hands on taxpayer's money.

Trump bought a great toupee, painted his skin orange and starred in a reality show.  Pretty good list.

(Go ahead and tell me how he is worth millions and I will point out that George Soros is a very successful business man and deserves to be president.)

We want.  The fucking.  Border.  Controlled.  Since the 1980s, when that was the other side of the first amnesty ''deal'' - you know, when an amnesty bill including border control passed and was signed, but the the Ds lied and didn't include the funding for it in the budget.

No one was asking for Trump to have the Mexicans pay for it, he just blurted that out.  We don't care who pays for it, we want the damn border controlled - like every other civilized nation.  It doesn't have to be a wall from the Gulf to the Pacific, just a barrier in the right places and policing along the rest of the it.

So now Trump's bad because it's actually going to happen?  Try again.

Well, my post was about opponents to this sick practice not having to be ''religious''.  You realize in the future people are going to look back at the Libs for this the way we look back at slave owners, right?

And it's billed as a ''women's health issue''.  Ugh.

I think most critical thinkers from across party lines knew Trump's promised wall was largely symbolic, and spending billions of taxpayers dollars to build a physical wall will do no good if current immigration laws are not enforced. A multi-billion dollar wall will be just as porous as a cheap fence if no one's patrolling it. Recently law enforcement officers from a number of states let the Feds know they had no intention of doing the work of the Feds. Wouldn't it be more prudent to spend money to hire additional Federal officers to do their job?

Hey El Tee,  Surely you must understand that Trump didn't mean that Mexico is going to wire the Treaury start up money for the wall and then follow it up with monthly payments.  There are many ways of offsetting the expense of the wall like stoppage of all foreign aid to Mexico, imposition of tariffs, withdrawal of support for free trade zones, etc., etc. Please don't misrepresent.

Who, me? That's funny, as anyone who was breathing during the past year will recall Trump hawking his wall and assuring his devotees that he'd get Mexico to pay for it. But now, before he's even in office, the GOP is scrambling to appropriate taxpayer money by April to pay for it.
I misrepresented? Lol!

The plan is an implicit acknowledgment by Republicans and the incoming administration that Mexico will not pay for the border wall â€" a promise from Trump that was always viewed skeptically. Instead, American tax dollars will.

When you "followed her career," did you by any chance stick your fingers in your ears, crying, "I can't hear you" (much like Donald probably will do when he receives his intelligence briefing today)? Because this information is readily available to anyone who hasn't closed off his mind to the idea that Hillary does have accomplishments:

As First Lady, she was the lead point person inside the White House that led to the creation of the CHIP program, which expanded health insurance to millions of lower-income children.

As a senator, she was instrumental in securing $21 billion in federal funding to rebuild New York after 9/11. She also played major roles on legislation to provide medical care to first responders who become ill, as well as provide full military health benefits to reservists and National Guard members.

She authored the Pediatric Research Equity Act, which requires drug companies to study the effects of their products on children, and improved drug labeling pertaining to safety and dosage for children. Fun fact: Her co-sponsor of that bill was a Republican senator from Ohio, demonstrating her oft-cited ability to work in a bipartisan fashion.

As Secretary of State, she pushed for the sanctions on Iran that ultimately led to the Iran nuclear deal. She also negotiated a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas. (Just because the truce didn't last doesn't make her "incompetent." She did the work; it's not her fault if other parties didn't hold up their end.)

I'm not sure these actually are "accomplishments," but I think she also deserves credit for focusing on gender equality ("Women's rights are human rights, China!"), LGBT rights, climate change and things like that.

Anyone whose been breathing for the last ten minutes understands that político is a left wing rag. Político and you are assuming that Trump won't take steps to recoup the money from Mexico. Neither you or Polico are privy to Trump's plans in this regard and you should both stop peddling horse shit.

If those are the highlights, thanks for making my point.

Wouldn't any senator from NY have pushed a 9/11 bill through?  Which of the various bills are you referring to?  The other NY Senator at the time was Chuck Schumer, what I remember was he and the NY House delegation pushing through the early bills, with newbie Senator Hilary Clinton tagging along.  What I also recall was her being booed and heckled by a crowd of first responders.  The James Zadroga Act (health program for first responders) was passed and signed January 2011, long after she left the Senate - as a Media darling and the likely nominee to succeed Obama, Big Media somehow gave her a good deal of credit for that bill.

I would say the Iran deal is perhaps our worst treaty, agreement, whatever you want to call it, in the history of our country.  We'll regret this.  I don't even feel like going through that again just now.

The US doesn't really negotiate cease fires between Israel and their enemies, they use our good offices as a nation they both trust when they both want a short term deal.  In other words, when Hamas, the PA, etc, want to regroup and stop Israel's retaliations for whatever recent atrocities they've committed, they call the US Secretary of State - whoever that may be at the time.

The rest are either minor bills, or are typical Democrat talking points.

By the way, the Iran ''deal'' - wasn't Kerry the Secretary of State during that fiasco?

I'd love to blame Mrs Clinton, but this one's on John Kerry and Barrack Obama.

Naturally, now one of his handlers has gently pointed out to the sufferer of arrested development, that Assange isn't the official US centre of intelligence gathering, he's had to try and limit the damage.

He's no doubt laughing it off as one big misunderstanding; the way teenagers do when the house gets trashed when the parents go away for the weekend. His handlers are probably trying to tell him that the officials he'll meet today are grown ups, and might frown if he tweets what they're saying (if his attention hasn't been taken by a new Pokamon card or something) in the meeting.

Its a great thing he's a 'big fan' of the CIA. More adolescents should get a crack at running for POTUS, Trump has just set the trend.

Yes, no argument with improving security on the net and on servers etc. But as the Senate committee have said, it isn't just political parties who are the victims; they're revealing as much as they can next week publically.

But the point (as you well know), is Trump essentially said that the CIA and others in the intelligence services lied, and/or are incompetent. However he's now trying to worm himself out of his own big mouth tweeting, that is what he said. He hasn't the balls to say he fucked up. He's doing what he's always done; blame others for quoting him verbatim. That's the problem with the net, its there for all to see.

He's a coward, a fucking weasel. He can't admit that he's wrong.

He's now making it worse by saying he's a big fan of the CIA! A Fan? Childlike doesn't do him justice.
Assuming the agenda is not more nefarious and this stuff wasn't intended  ;) I would considered the CIA, and some other agencies, pretty incompetent at times. Various Muslims were "on our radar" yet still allowed to practice their peace in Boston, California, etc. Elohim City was "on the radar," and even had embedded people and informers yet OKC happened. The collapse of the USSR wasn't foreseen (by most) and post-ColdWar we handled Russia very poorly- when we had an opportunity to bring them in, possibly, into the more modern, honest world. Instead supported drunks, threw money to organized crime figures, allowed predatory capitalism, expanded NATO to threaten, etc. WMD, arguably Saddam had some but not the nukes or WMD the public was lead to believe, and now the whole area is in chaos. Our government and contractors get hacked, or has stuff stolen by insiders, all the time. Now, not all are incompetent and there is lots of stuff that was stopped etc. And many things that we 'can't know about' but spying on Congressmen and every citizen but allowing an open-border? Priorities? Arguably the NSA got more information on Congressional, and our, emails and conversations than any "Russian hackers" have.
