Random stupid things on your mind. Post them.

Watched Metallica on Craig Ferguson.

When the ~hell~ did the drummer morph into a smaller version of Michael Keaton?

I'm so out of this loop in all aspects. So tired of pretending everything is "OK."

Watching Lars "Keaton" machine gunning double bass drums was disturbing.  Hell, James Hetfield looked like he was ready to whip out a Ronco Pocket Fisherman.

OH, and GET THIS.

In THIS time line, Stephen King did NOT get killed by the van that NAILED HIM!

Are you ~fucking~ kidding me?!

To be sure, I am suffering from Time Travel lag. It's to be expected when one is not in his/her Natural Time Line.

I'm going to need some drugs or therapy or both until I get the _____ ______ _____ repaired so I can get the hell out of here.

Peace.

I think.

It never dawned on me that Manson was crazy until this announcement yesterday. He's going to miss his freedom.

If he were a guest on Oprah he would probably jump (pixie-like) and perch (NASCAR pit crew-like) on the furniture.

I'm in love, you hogs!

Nobody really wants to die before they get old, no matter what they might say when they're young and brash.  Pete knows all about how that works.  He's probably already planning the next, "The Who's Very Last Final Farewell This Time We Mean It And We Aren't Kidding" tour and signing up major corporate sponsorship.  And so it goes.  Damn it.

BTW, if it's any help, I've heard that drugs without therapy is better than therapy without drugs.

Bill Cosby touched muh butt.

I didn't think he went for the little chubby white boys

MV/Liberace!

When I see someone driving a pickup truck, I assume they're stupid until proven otherwise.

I can see the cloud dropping assloads of snow over Buffalo as I mow the lawn.

Helping me move is proof otherwise, though.

It would be in exercise in humility for Charlie. Oprah's cult is far more insane and dangerous than Manson's ragtag collection.

Ok, well... you gotta point there.

Speaking of trucks. Here's one that is retired from the road.

Poor old evil thing.  :(

I created that license plate myself while doing a hellish five at Nashville Pen before being transferred to a less hellish joint in Venus, Texas.

But knowing that my "art plate" was out there cruising America's paved bloodstream, well . . .

It helped me hang on. And it is art. Pressed metal lettering is something that pulls the emotion out of you like cat litter pulls piss. (Sometimes, such machines take more from a man ... ask Tony Iommi.)

With any luck, the license plate will find a permanent home just down the road from here, hanging as atmospheric decoration at a BBQ shack operated by an extraterrestrial posing as a black man. The truck will ~Rust in Peace~ around back of Venus Bar-B-Que.

We serve the best barbecue this side of the planet! Yessir! Your momma know it's true! Come on in!

So it goes, indeed. Time is one hungry donut, Mr. Vonnegut.

Latest news: Pete Townsend Smashes Guitar - Smashes Hip Instead.

Speaking of aging idols, recently saw Billy Idol perform on the time tube. He is holding up much better than Lars Keaton, though his guitarist, Steve Stevens, looked incredibly like a bloated Headbangers Ball Riki Rachtman on a very bad hair/face day.

Aging is a cruel mistress.  MV might say aging is a cruel cunt, but my high moral authority is trying to keep the conversation PG here.

Rodney Fowler, 43, was spotted Tuesday afternoon placing the steaks in his scooter by a Walmart loss prevention officer, according to a police report.

These grandiose job titles always make me laugh.

Quote
The fate of the rib eye steaks Fowler sat upon is not addressed in the police report (though here’s hoping Walmart did not shelve the pressed meat).

They probably put it back on the shelf.
Tip: never buy meat food at Walmart.  :-\
