Even though I shouldn't be surprised, given his age, I still reacted this way upon hearing of his death. I guess I just thought guys like him would live forever. The music he helped make probably will though. He was as much a Beatle as the actual members of the band. Thanks you, Mr. Martin!

Well-said.  If anybody was the Fifth Beatle, it would be this man.  He played instruments on numerous songs and arranged several songs.  You will be missed, Mr. Martin.  Rest In Peace.
