Also interesting she puts all "Chinese" into one category when they have different languages and ethnicities. And puts Sikh and Hindu as a single group when they are very different and even have fought each other in history. A weird person. But some of what she says does bear some statistical/historical truth but there are also other factors to be considered besides the basic racist Hillary beliefs.

I don't even know why we have any. Especially considering the modern formats, biased moderators and media, and instant, almost, information, for what any politician says to get money (aside from speeches to bankers) or lie/spin. People can "fact check" on their own in many cases, at least as long as internet is available, and there are no real debates with rhetorical or logical arguments, policy positions, etc but talking points, gotcha questions, or sexual peccadilloes or crimes thrown about. And most voters are already decided (to not show up like usual) and the illegal voters know which way to vote so why bother. I'll listen to the debate tomorrow, maybe. But blah.

Just the fact missiles were fired at a US warship should warrant a military response.  One would hope there was either satellite or aerial surveillance on the area from where the missiles were launched, and a strike called in to deal with the "rebels".  Sounds like a good fire mission for an AC-130 if there are any in theater.

As much as I am an atheist, I think it will have to be a spiritual movement to change the underpinnings of the problems that plague cities like Chicago. And there is no one answer to change what is Chicago.

As an aside there are plenty of liberal/democratic cities that are doing very well. So, in my opinion this problem is more than political. And honestly, to suggest politics is the root cause is just way too reductive.

Yeah, I can go along with that.  I'm not saying politics is the root of the problem but I don't think it would hurt to try something different when it comes down to politics in some of these cities.  Anyway, thank you for your thoughtful reply.

Speaking of USS Mason, for those interested in such things, there was a historically significant USS Mason in WWII.  It was a destroyer escort (DDE) with an all black crew, sort of the Navy's attempt to copy the USAAF's Tuskegee "experiment".  My late uncle was a huge Mason buff, met a good number of the crew over the years.  His interest in the Mason came as a result of working in an automobile factory with one the ship's former crewmen.

Lest I be sanctioned- or worse called a name. Could there be some demographic data that could be correlated, not causative necessarily, to situations with regard to crime, economic output, school marks, etc in places like Chicago and etc? Or should one dare not go there? Are certain possible "factors" off-limits? Just wondering when it comes to solutions. Obama's mentor even had some interesting theories. Wild ones about "different brains" and "learning differently" and "musical differences" but he speculated, at length, from what I could tell no scientific basis, but when he was Obama's pastor, mentor, and friend. And Obama was organizing the area- look how it turned out!
