The Democrat National Convention

LOL.  Those two are still on the Trump bandwagon now too. Not sure what point you are trying to make, Uhura, because they are definitely against Hillary.

Hilary Clinton as the Whore of Babylon?

Seems legit.

I would agree.  She started prostituting herself a long time ago when she married Bill.

There are so many parallels, it's down right scary. :o   I also discovered many, many other people have made the connection quite a few years ago.

Haha, yes, against Hillary all the way to the bank.

I'm against Hillary too, but that doesn't mean I'll stoop to vote for Donald Trump. 🃏

I know this would never happen, but given Trump's seeming reluctance to pick Pence, and Bernie showing how easily he becomes a turncoat, imagine that Trump replaces his VP choice with Bernie?   The sound of all the minds being blown would echo through eternity.

Tonight's speaker platform is going to be compelling, IMHO. 4 men, 5 women -- usually that would not be the norm, but tonight we're pretending that it's the future. The age-range of the speakers is interesting, too, from the celebrated young to the marginalized elderly.

Since none of us really know what's going on behind the scenes, it's natural to trust your instincts first ... and then let your feelings guide you when you try researching to get to the truth, if it's possible. Use your profession and hobbies to see what people you respect are saying.

People I respect here are pro-Trump and that's hard to parse, but I'm trying.

Whatever you're trying, add limoncello to it.

Meanwhile in France some "refugees" slit the throat of a Priest during Mass and took two nuns hostage. The government knew about him (and he was on a terror watch-list) but, like the Obama administration, they trusted him not to promote peace due to political correctness. Not one mention of ISIS, or ISIL as Obama calls them, or how to protect against terrorism at the DNC convention (at least day one) except to say how great Islam and diversity is and that they want to take more of these types of people in (and we cannot vet them or even identify them in many cases) and keep the border wide open.

It is insane, willing to have women and children (of both genders) raped, people blown up, homosexuals gunned down en masse, and mass shootings just for the "moral high-ground" of diversity and no borders?  :o I can understand Hillary, Obama, and the big-wigs (they live in protected compounds, their children attend elite private schools, and have highly-trained armed security around them at all times- usually on the tax-payers dime) but how could the average Democratic voter make this odd, suicidal choice?

Yeah, I find it hard to believe all those people are going to vote for Hillary.

Made famous by Danny DeVito, who is in Sunny in Philly, which it is, today.

However, you did a very bad thing, above. You changed my actual words, without an ediot or FIFY or anything, and believe me, I used Trump's proper name, out of respect. The drumpf-thing is most likely wrong and heated rhetoric from show-biz people trying to do a show on HBO.

Alright, back to this bullshit. I'm only hoping for a body count.

Go get 'em Miss Fudd.

Nancy, that's because you respect these people for whom they are, not for whom they are for. ;) :-*

Unfortunately, some of us marginalize ourselves on the politics thread.  Many blindly follow whoever they support without question.  I would include myself in that camp sometimes though I try to be more discerning.  I have a lot of problems with Trump but not as many as I have with Hillary.  I will never vote for her.  I hate to vote for Trump but what other choice is there that has a chance of winning?

I do think we need to clamp down on our borders but we should also treat illegals humanely. That does not mean allowing all of them to stay.  It would have to be looked at on a case-by-case basis.  I'd say if legal kids have parents who are illegal, they should be allowed to stay and maybe someday have the opportunity for citizenship if they follow some procedures.  I think we should stop immigration from troubled countries where terrorism breeds.

I also don't believe in free college and many other social programs that do not require their recipients to work if they are able to.  That has been my problem with the Democratic party for decades.  We simply do not have the budget nor should we have a budget for those things on the federal level.

This DNC has been like when you flip a light on in a terrible run down building and a bunch of vermin scatter. It's amazing watching liberals wake up watching this like a giant evil spell has been broken.

Why is every Democrat handicapped or a minority? Just think if Pocahontas didn't claim she was native, there's no way she would have made it anywhere in this group.

We're doing this again after eight hours of this same shit yesterday?

Yeah, I know. We've been East Coasters/NYC-centric for all the years Trump was coming up as a real-estate developer. Our circles criss-crossed all the time, and so I speak from that experience.  I know Trump the way many of us know Noory. It's been a long slog.

Vote for Johnson. His numbers almost have him in the debates. If we have debates.
