The Democrat National Convention

VtaGeezer

I'll kick off the Dem convention thread with the news that, to avoid a PR disaster, crooked Wasserman-Schultz will not preside over the convention but neither has she been fired by HMH.  And Clinton is trying to pin the DNC scandal on Trump and Putin colluding to embarrass HMH and sell out the country.

Dems must have cast iron stomachs; cuz I could puke this is so f'ing rotten.  It's far more serious than the Watergate break-in that brought Nixon down.  The question is; are Sanders supporters really stupid enough to shift support to HMH now that her complete dishonesty and corruption has been exposed with searing brightness?  Or will the focus grouped vids with tinkling piano music and images of her comforting the children put them back into the SJW trance?

I'm waiting and hoping to see violence in the streets.  Since everyone was saying it would happen in Cleveland and it never did.

Marcia Fudge is now the replacement for DWS.  Has anyone set an over/under for how many times she will play the race card this week?

I can't think of a single Democrat I like anymore. I hope the DNC burns to the ground.

I hadn't planned on watching the DNC nor making a thread for it.  I changed me mind. ;) ;D

It's the Russians fault!!! :o   ;D ;D ;D

Ahhh c'mon.   Not even crazy, racist, Vice President Biden?

I do still kind of like Biden. I will never forget the lulz watching him destroy Paul Ryan in 2012.

See there ya go.    I kind of have a special place in my heart for the dude that thought Guam would tip over and turn turtle.

And he is not politically-correct and will joke and make comments about people and things off the cuff. Somewhat Trump-like though not as bombastic.

Billary is such a non-person and every statement is parsed and robotic and something her lawyer vetted (when she even talks to people or the press, which is rare unless you are a millionaire on Wall St or foreign company executive who donates $$.)

Where is Philly? 👯
In Pennsylvania  ;). A very appropriate place for a political convention, especially for Billary.

Personally I find the excuse from this politician amusing:
"Former Gov. Ed Rendell, D-Pa., said he wasn’t worried about the scandals. “We had corruption in 2012 and Barack Obama carried the city by 468,000 votes,” Rendell said.

He said some of this was what you get in “big city politics,” adding that the one-party dominance in Philadelphia can breed corruption."

The PhillyVoice guide to the 2016 Democratic National Convention
Here's the skinny on all the events, protests and road closures coming with the DNC

Philadelphia
Philadelphia was selected by the Democratic National Committee on February 12, 2015, as the host city for the party's 2016 Convention. The primary venue, where the nominee will be selected, will be the Wells Fargo Center. The Pennsylvania Convention Center will also be used for some events.

I'm not a Dem, so I think maybe your thread should be the official DNC thread.  Maybe MV will be kind enough to merge the two. ;) :D

Clinton's pick: Who is Tim Kaine?

Well I sincerely hope he has his act together.   Despite being a venal, incompetent, fool it is Hillary's race to lose.   With her less than robust health, this time around the Veep might have more to do than greet the Kroger Employee of the month or attend the funeral of the Interior Minister of Smellyarseistan.

Hi MV!

Vitageezer has also started a DNC thread.  Is it possible to merge the two?  Kinda of a one stop shopping thingy.  I don't care which mergers to which.  You decide.  Thank you, MV. :)

If he had any self-respect. I almost think his campaign was one big embezzlement scheme though.

This...

The RNC was the serious convention. Now it's party time. Get your popcorn popping because there's bound to be plenty of entertainment to be had. Super size that bucket! The kind that's probably illegal in any ultra lib run big city. Get yourself a nice BIG GULP while you're at it. It's showtime!!!  :o

So listening to Beyond the Beltway and interesting 'spin' on Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, stepping down and now might even not even speak. Hilarious. Though I hope she speaks and causes more division in the party and in the tribe (amazing emails about is Bernie a "Jew" by the DNC!)
