ALEIGH, N.C. â€" Republicans from North Carolina have apologized to Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine for mistakenly critiquing him for wearing a foreign flag during his acceptance speech.

The state GOP sent out a tweet Wednesday night saying it was "shameful" for Kaine to wear a Honduras flag during his speech at the Democratic National Convention.

Kaine spent a year in Honduras as a missionary. But Ben Amey, a reporter for WNYT-TV in Albany, New York, pointed out on Twitter that Kaine's pin was actually the symbol for families with a member serving in the military.

Kaine's son, a Marine, is currently deployed.

Amey posted a screen grab of the party's original tweet, which the GOP has since deleted. Also on Twitter, the party thanked Amey for "letting us correct our mistake."

A speaker at a massive Black Men for Bernie Sanders rally near the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia told the crowd on Wednesday to “watch the movie Clinton Cash.”

“It’s a movie. It’s about Hillary Clinton. And it’s free, they’re not even charging you to see the truth,” the speaker said to the crowd.

Not certain where those interested can watch the explosive documentary film, someone in the crowd yelled, “YouTube!”

“Watch the movie Clinton Cash” the Black Men for Bernie speaker said, adding, “the next time one of [Hillary Clinton’s] people run in your face, you say, ‘You need to check this out.”

“We need to start waking them up also,” the speaker said of Hillary Clinton supporters, “just like we’ve been woken up.

“That’s what we do. We teach.”

Haitians at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia took to the streets to protest Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation’s actions in the wake of the 2010 cataclysmic earthquake in Haiti.

“The main message is that Hillary Clinton belongs in jail,” one protester said when asked what the overall message of the protest was.

“We believe that the world should know about the crimes the Clinton family has committed against the country of Haitiâ€"the money they have stolen from the earthquake victims. And we believe that were this to be anyone else, they’d be in jail right now,” he continued.

“She’s not in jail because she’s being protected by the Obama administration, the Justice Department, State Department,” the man said.

PHILADELPHIA â€" In the strongest criticism yet of Hillary Clinton's open-border and amnesty plan, the National Border Patrol Council Thursday warned that the Democrat's plan endangers Americans and that drug cartels and Islamic extremists are eager for her to win so they can invade the U.S.

"Clinton's call for amnesty in her first 100 days and expanding these dangerous policies demonstrates her deeply alarming willingness to sell out the security of American families to advance her political or financial interests. Her immigration plan is not only dangerous for all American families, but previews an administration that will once again defy the will of the voters and Congress to implement a divisive, reckless and partisan agenda," the union said in a statement issued before Clinton gives her acceptance speech tonight.

The 16,500-member council, which has endorsed Donald Trump, said that Obama's immigration policies have been disastrous to the country and immigrants, and said Clinton's would be worse.

"We would face an unprecedented crisis if she was elected and allowed to implement her plan. Cartels and Islamic extremists would quickly manipulate this chaos and further their plans to harm innocent American citizens," they warned.

I just walked into another room and caught a script running on the banner on Fox that said something like "-someone- said defeating ISIS there will cause them to come here." ? 

I have no idea if this was said or if I read it correctly but was it said by someone? And what was the reference? Especially since the promises of the Democrat platform is like the former European one (open borders, taking "refugees" and "asylum" seekers, looking the other way at illegals, etc that have resulted in amazing rape rates and brutal terrorist attacks, and just general crime, in formerly very peaceful lands.) WTF?
