what Zep song?

I think it was "In The Evening"?

Or "Nobody's Fault But Mine"?

I admit I forgot already...

Dread Zeppelin does a fun cover of Nobody's btw...

Annndd there is that annoying vocal fry.

I find her constant vocal fry to be one of the most annoying things about her. I know Art searches these threads looking for libel. Maybe he could take a look at all the vocal fry complaints, AND TELL HER TO KNOCK THAT SHIT OFF!

in no order

Achilles
Stairway
No Quarter
Thank You
10 years Gone
Rain Song
Immigrant Song
Down By the Seaside
Kashmir
Ramble On

You can relpace Down By the Seaside for In the Evening.  That's some Flyer's fan shit.

;D ;) ;D

Checking their eyes, their great muscles...I bet he was thinking their large reptilian tails should be on the front side, just saying?

In Art's GABCAST he said she should make the show her own, maybe she is starting to do that. I hope so. Then she can sink or swim on her own talent.

But wouldn't that mean having to pay for the rights to use different music? I thought MITD only was able to play Art's selections?

Only name I even sent in, cool dude!

I also suggested alternative naval history writer Taylor Anderson, author of the WW2 based "Destroyermen" series.

Talking about it seems to have run them off, so being quiet about it might bring them back ;

Seriously - it's like day and night over the span of one or two days:  every page was about 90% ignored garbage, and now they're completely gone...poof...  I wonder if shills are told to back off when people start openly calling attention to them...

Probably my fault...

At the risk of incurring Chronaut's wrath...

You'd prefer something like "Chelsea Dagger?"

You've got The Rain Song and Down By the Seaside. I'd add Night Flight, and would rather listen to In the Evening than Stairway. Just because the former hasn't been worn out from decades of airplay.

Has anyone else noticed that all the people on your ignore list stopped posting the day we starting talking about shills?  This thread and the Art Bell thread have gone from 80-90% trolls to 100% regular members essentially overnight.  Fuckn weird.
I noticed the same thing

Thx will look into it. I love all the Ancient Roman alt history. So much of it that is excellent.

Any books with Romans being visited by space aliens?

ShayP

I love the reference...."this brother came in."  or "that brother was not a hologram."

Those brothers were jive turkeys.

Was that the same spam fried rice flavored with the sweet sweet timbres of a sound check with Art?

Remember when I said I posted the Spam Fried Rice recipe?

I lied.

Heh.

If I recall correctly I got the SpamFriedRice recipe from the Spam website...

I will try to find it in it's original full glory, and post in the appropriate thread.  And yes the very same recipe I used for the now mythical and surreal (in my mind) 'lost' Art Bell soundcheck pre-show thing.

Out of curiosity, and much of it is 'fiction', in so far as documentation I guess technically now, do you like actual Roman etc history? You can go to old book stores etc and get Gibbon, Will and Ariel Durant, etc in modern English that is amazing and not need to read other languages, but also, not just dumbed down stuff.

I noticed the same thing
It was preceded by the discussion of the people who post day after day much like Hoaxy's mad martian.  Some people are still posting about a decision made months ago now. yet here they are, over and over.

It was suggested that these people have some sort of mental problem and I have to agree. So I personally have been trying not to engage these poor sick folks any more. Maybe some saw that they were engaging in unhealthy behavior. :::shrug:::

ShayP

This is just really good crazy.  I feel like I'm in a bounce house .
