If he did who would carry on his legacy? Who would inherit Bellgab? Scary thoughts.

I always figured he was banging a neighbor.

I remember when Art quit the show originally a lot of people, including I think Art, asserted that nobody with experience or other options would have been interested in taking over MITD. That was one of the reasons given for putting Heather in the host chair. Yet here we are over two years later, with the show presumably in a much weaker position, and Keith was able to quickly attract an experienced and busy host like Dave. I wonder if those initial assertions were never true and were just a justification for giving the show to someone without any credentials, or if only now with enough water under the bridge somebody with Dave's qualifications was willing to consider the role. Anyway, just something I was thinking about.  :)

Interesting observation. You may be on to something.

Yeah, I'd prefer you keep Trump off MITD.. only as is relevant to current events, if you cover them. JMO.

100% agree. People who want politics can go pretty much anywhere else to get their fill.

I wonder if the second guy is a backup in case the first guy can't make it because he's feeling under the weather.

Hey, gotta have a fill-in guest if the actual guest gets firecrackers set off at him by a stalker.

Is that the they are still alive story?

No. He interjects himself into the timeline as if he tried to stop the launch.

I'm still laughing about the Dracula Pumpkin.
Where does one get a pumpkin in May? Can't wait until October?
Is peeing a sheepdog like milking a cow?
If he is hurriedly typing this while the sheepdog is waiting, why not just pee the blasted sheepdog out?
Are socks with weird designs an in thing again? Were they used?
Is a "survival pen" just a Space Pen?
Why does he think anyone outside his family wants to see pictures of a deceased dog from 31 years ago? He's not Benji, Rin TinTin, or Laika.

If Paul and Ella have a youtube channel, I fear Falkie may face competition.

I assume they meant the candle inside the pumpkin was still burning, but did anyone else envision a pumpkin that was on fire (as in, the rind and all)? lol

MV's neighbor is the BellGab heir apparent?

Anyone interested in starting a "dead pool" for how long her show lasts when/IF it ever happens?  It's never too early to start, I suppose.

On an unrelated note, I'm really enjoying the new shows...Keith made an excellent choice with Schrader!  We've missed him since he switched to Beyond the Darkness ('Zon's Echos couldn't find the new podcast - never thought to try the Google mini before now :S ). He used to have some really funny shit going with Tim Dennis.

Heather Wade: 4 months.

Heath Wade: 9 months.

Heater Wade: 1 year plus two weeks.

I see someone had his Wheaties today?

Maybe Paul and Ella's dog pissed in them?

Clearly they can come here to BellGab and “discuss”.  :P

Yeah, this is going to be more of a challenge than certain hosts.

Well the most fraudulent things such as when he invented fusion rockets as a teenager and then General Lemay had him launch one and fly it to Area 51 are just harmless tall tales. His alleged involvement in NASA and especially his lying through his ass discussions of the Events surrounding the Challenger accident best never be told when I am in the same room.

I'm getting shades of Expat v. Hoagie.  This oughtta be good.

Thought they tasted a bit like kibbles.

Looking at Heather's new site and that is just a sad excuse. Who ever is doing that should just switch to wordpress. It's not 1996 anymore & HTML 2.0 isn't used anymore.

DynamoHum

Ok who is artbelllegacy.com on Twitter?

I don’t have the energy to pull an expat. I’ll leave it ip to Dyna-X. I was there but Dyna is much better at providing backup documents.

Keith's site isn't some innovative masterpiece, but at least it's clean and concise. Whoever did Heather's went to the Fisher Price school of web design.

I have yet to find one space "whistleblower" that is convincing.

There are a few in space UFO sightings that have some weight, some untold Operation Paperclip tales and some pictures that may show something that may or may not be paredolia induced. John Brandenburg regarding Mars is a maybe. The rest as best as I can tell is rubbish.

Yes, at least Keith keeps with the times on the coding part. For example Heather's site isn't mobile friendly and google would hammer it to hell. That's a no brainer thing to have at this point.

The reason I was a bit non-committal on Dave as host is on C2C it seemed like 9 out of 10 shows were about hauntings and I grow weary of those pretty quickly.  He did have a show on in the last year on technology, virtual reality or transhumanism, something like that, which was quite good so I know he's got the potential to go other places.

Something to consider, I was given 2 days a month to do Coast, I brought ghosts, Aliens, Technology, Music and Celeb interviews, AI, Medical Mysteries and True Crime. People always seem to forget I covered MANY topics. I did do more on Ghosts and Paranormal than other topics because the audience wrote to me, said we get enough of the other topics from GN, GK, JC, CW, RS, LG we want more of the paranormal "LIKE ART USED TO DO"

So I tried to remain fluid and cover more, but I also heard what the masses emailed me about and they wanted the spooky. So I delivered.

I also was more subdued on C2C because it wasnt MY house. I was a fill in host and the regular host had standards and I did my best to adhere to them.

MITD is a show I lead now and I will bring more personality, experiences and hopefully fun while remaining respectful to the topics.

I will leave the silly shenanigans to working with my long time partner Tim. Some people love our dynamic and goofy humor, others hate it.  So another sign of, You Cant Please Everyone.....so I will do what I can to be the best I can and have fun doing it.

If it's in your wife's basement, you're a keeper.

I thought last night's guest was a kook, but the program was entertaining. I particularly liked when Dave asked a wormhole question about why this hasn't been documented in scientific journals and the guest answered by saying that Sean Hannity ran a piece on it.

Mourning for Art is over and I've changed into pool attire for the summer.

That's much more comfortable...

On HW's new artbelllegacy.com website, looks like she still plans on using the show name "Midnight in the Desert"
Going to very confusing if both shows have the same name....

In this era, the frauds are tough to host for entertainment value unless you already have a wink-wink "believe it or not" persona like Art. I can't see Dave being much interested in Mel's Hole. He's too intellectual. That's the part Noory can still do, but Dave is going to be more "experience"-orientedâ€"hauntings, OBEs, etc. So it will be interesting to see how he handles a guy like this tonight.
