Sorry I am posting this late and if has already been brought up than double mea culpa. Midnight in the Desert as a name worked because Art was in the desert! Dave is broadcasting from Minnesota, no deserts there that I know of (other than the cultural one) so a renaming is needed.  I propose Minnesota in the Dark.

Im not sure about that. Noory screwed the pooch way back in the glory days of the old fantastic forum. He strolled in there thinking it would be like the second coming of Christ, and quickly had his ass handed to him. DS jumped into the pit of vipers without hesitation. Good move...marketing and otherwise. Better the devil you know...
