Lasha isn't even a member in that group.  Lasha is not well liked by quite a few people in that group, either. 

The group was called Heather Wade MITD Fans, and the owner of the group, who is not Heather, BTW, decided to change the name last week and made a proclamation that those of us that were not completely drinking the koolaide were free to go over to Bellgab.  🙄  The owner just started the questions thing when joining to try and weed out the trolls. 

My posts that called Heather out for not getting her ass back to work in that group were deleted, and I'm surprised I didn't get the boot.  I had sympathy for Heather in the beginning, but the way she conducted herself during these weeks has been ridiculous.  It is amazing me that so many people don't believe that she is in the wrong, and that it's Keith's fault.

Some podcasts I don't mind the fact they are pre-recorded, like Gilbert Gottfried's. But when it comes to recording, I don't like to do a show and put it "in the can." I LOVE being live, knowing someone is listening. It ups my game and makes me try harder.

I guess the trendy podcasts that put ear candy ahead of substance are the ones that feel overly contrived. I enjoy Big Picture Science and the Astronomy Cast because I expect them to have a casual scholarly atmosphere.
As for live it works both ways.  We can cringe with the host and let out the "Yesss!" when a question is asked that "knocks one out of the park" or fills in a blank we've always wanted to know the answer to.

The skill of the Master is how to let a guest exhaust their story to the point where they either look silly or dubious or open up more curiosity to where your listeners will be inclined to do more digging on their own.  Either way they appreciate the favor in at least the perception that they are somehow closer to grasping the truth (however elusive it may be) than before.

What you did on your show the other day was clever in talking about the area around the studio. If you fill in too many blanks its boring, but if you give just some clues it provides a chance to engage imagination. Names of small cities also work well here. Everyone can conjur up Boston but New Bedford? Acushnet? Taunton? They all have little stories. Name the little town with a caller on a humming phone line describing a 4 foot tall plaid rabbit. Radio Gold.

But everyone is already mostly posting about Art and Dave and George in this thread, so I can't see people going back and forth between one about "MITD with Dave" and whatever's happening with Heather in this one or a new one. People would be double-posting and asking for all kinds of #CatsmileScratching.

That's just an opinionâ€"MV knows the best direction to steer this ship.

My sentiments exactly. That's the group I have been screenshotting. lol I joined long ago when it was all about Art, and I do not recall getting asked those (or any) questions. I think the group is gradually being distilled down to just the HW bootlickers. They don't bother to look beyond what their high priestess HW tells them. When she's quiet, they just run with it. Most seem to think that Keith fired Heather, who was Art's chosen one and honorary family member, out of the blue for no good reason then comandeered the show all while twirling his villain mustache.
