Funny. No wants to talk politics and finds it distasteful these days. Yet, when we were the thread was moving; people were thinking and writing. Now that we've stopped: silence.

I think politics is the guilty pleasure no one wants to admit to. 

sometimes i just want to burn down the house and piss on the ashes. politicians are awful. occasionally a local official may accomplish something worthwhile but overall all of politics is more corrupt than ever and the country/planet is in a shit state of affairs right across the board, the working class is doomed..

worse than all of the political talent show marathons, is the average useful idiot cocksucker zombie ghoulietapping fuckface out there who quite often seems to be a-ok with the status quo. i hate these people more than the politician/businessman sometimes. there is no getting through to certain kinds of people, especially when the average attention span has decreased to the size of cell-addict's peripheral vision. the bar is at an all-time low right across the board. this is unacceptable and needs fixing, after that point the society will sober up and realize that politicians are not even needed.

i hate celebrities. i hate politicians. i hate zombies. fuck 'em. fuck 'em. fuck 'em. i don't see a whole lot of individualism these days, so how are people competent to elect the most appropriate megadildo for the position. unfortunately the average taxpayer has gone full retard. there might not be any way to properly reverse this without serious cataclysm first.

First time I've seen though a "jumbo" option for them! And, as was pointed out, less value per pound but a good gimmick. But the kids loved the almost lobsters we had (group decision was to buy one of those over price "jumbo" sacks in addition.) Didn't taste any better but, funny, you could eat some of the claws like a crab or lobster. ha. (people still blamed some I-10 shutdown, pre this flood, for higher prices and maybe bigger bugs.)

Hawks will be solid for years to come. I watched them beat the Blues in St. Louis on 11/14. There were as many Hawks fans as Blues fans and the place was not sold out. Any city that can't sell out a home game against the Hawks on a Saturday night does not deserve a Stanley Cup.
