It's a valid question to ask. Greek and Roman civilizations do tend not to be looked at the same as ancient Egyptianns or Mayans

was an interesting question...hadnt thought of it myself

Grow your own heirloom vegetables. Tastiest thing I've ever done in my life.

Being careful to harvest the ego-shattering fungi from Kobe cow pies.

The "German Susies" I grew this summer were FANTASTIC!!!

still have some kale out there.  Still green as ever.   Expanding next year to include root vegs and some pepers.

I always do tomatoes and herbs in the summer. There's no substitute!

Yep. I go all out, even have a bay laurel tree and dry my own bay leaves. It's so much better than what you get in the grocery store.

Just got here but...ha....lemme guess: obnoxious amounts of hearsay, blathering third hands stories and tremendously tedious waves of name dropping?

All in my opinion, of course.  :)

we had a good conversation  about MEAT

I grew a late season crop of an Italian kale called Nero de Toscana, and it's still going in cold Missouri.

Yes, it's ridiculously aggressive. Grow it in pots if you want it fresh.

Ancient Egypt, what they called KMT, is our species' most successful civilization yet â€" measured in sheer duration.  3,300 years.  Greece and Rome are pikers by comparison.
