I also think that's why he quit Dark Matter.  I don't think there was ever a non-compete with Sirius either, I think he made a deal with his wife to wait for a couple of years until his daughter was a little older to do another show, and it still didn't work out.

I strongly doubt that interpret'n.  He did the radio show from the same lot as their house!  Considering his age, his relationship to his daughter might be somewhat like that of a grandfather.  Most parents, let alone ones with such an age difference and such an engaging hobby or job, would relish the chance to get away into the garage for a few hours a day.  Plus, it's at night!  When he did the show from Manila, he said he used blackout drapes to pretend he was still doing the show "in the middle of the night, when we do our best thinking".  And it was not so late at night in Pahrump that he couldn't be up with them in the morning.

In for a shocker guys?.... in my opinion this was an inside job (it usually is).......My gf who is a Fillipina (same age as me)  agrees with me that Artbell's wife should be a suspect...And that the person who shot at Mr Bell has some kind of communication or relation with Arts wife!  Either a side bf who is looking to take Artbell out of the equation then hook up with Arts wife and collect some money or just simply a hitman hired by Arts wife,I know a fair bit about the Philippines, and I can tell you that young wives with older husbands are a recipe for disaster, cases of wives killing their older husbands has increased over the years in the Philippines.
