Fantastic!  I think you sum it up well.  Apparently, Ramona was the brains and sweat of the old show and Art was just the voice and on-air personality.  For every hour of enjoyment we had with Art, Ramona put in hours of thankless labor.  I would like to thank Ramona now in memory for her contribution.  I agree that I love Nancy & Bill Birnes and hope we can still get Future Theater and maybe they could do MITD at least on occasion.

I remember that Art used to always mention her fondly and gratefully during shows, I used to think they must have a great marriage. Then, months before she died, he just stopped mentioning her at all.  Stopped cold.  I thought they must be going through a bad patch.

not only that but what I've been puzzling over is why would the stalker asshole want Art to quit the show. Of all the Things to stalk someone over why is it important that Art quits the show. It seems to point to that miffed announcer but if not him then who and why?  At least with him the motive and the demands make sense. Otherwise it's a really bazaar demand. I also have a weird hunch  Art knows more about the stalker's motive then he (Art)  oranyone has said yet.

Art cares about our opinions; he answered me (albeit passive aggressively) after I challenged him directly. IMO, It is hypocritical for anyone to think Art gets a free pass. Especially, on this forum.

I think it is unreasonable to say that "he made this whole thing up", the man did file police reports multiple times. And as for people wondering why he wouldn't want to file a police report about that phone call, listen even semi-famous people (like Art) receive threats all the time, it's not that out of the ordinary. In light of all his claims though, not filling that seems pretty absurd in hindsight.

At the same time though I am still skeptical as to if there is actually a stalker who is doing all of this to Art. Considering the police have found nothing, the reasonable position seems to be skepticism. Not skepticism over Art's feelings, (because he really thinks all of this is happening) just over the reality of the situation as he has presented it so far.

It's not a leap to conclude that someone who believes in the paranormal, especially absurd things like shadow people, could make themselves believe that all of this is really going on.

Art had Dr. Jacobs on several times, and if what he says is true, maybe this has something to do with the mysterious stalker.

Absents of evidence is not evidence either way. I don't know the exact things I would expect them to find, I'm not apt to catching stalkers myself. But the total lack of evidence and their closing the case because of a lack of evidence should elicit skepticism. Too many people here aren't willing to even consider the fact that maybe it's just a series of events which he in his mind has woven into a much larger story. Again I don't know what the truth is, but neither do you. (Not you specifically poster just be Bellgab audience in general).

Did someone shoot at his home and then at him? Quite possibly, the world has a good share of crazy. As much as I don't want any harm to befall him and his family, I am completely powerless to do anything. I kind of like that distance.
