Morning Ms_C Good ideas all. You know is has been a wild and rocky month for Nancy, Lasha and Bella-Haven. Who knows what went on behind the scenes. I do have some ideas and hopes but in the end it's all up to Nancy. It might have something to do with her family life as well, who knows? I would hope the site will stay up. It is a good site and a landing place for all things Bella. But Bella-Haven was an idea she started to promote her own ideas and I for one hopes she will continue, show or no show.
Somehow, and it's just a gut feeling, I don't think things are as "final" as we think. Time ( and even that varies with immense speed ) will tell.................

At great risk to myself, knowing full well I could be forever banned from the Bella-Haven thread, I think RoseGirl is the type of person who would do it too, if asked. I know that's another touchy thing to say, but in the world of broadcasting, "touchy things" are just part of that world IMO. That's part of what makes it real, and keeps it interesting. IMO. The Show Must Go On!

I wanted to do Nancy's chart because I tend to relate to her ... the very quick mind, going from topic to topic ... trying to remain focused but the mind racing -- yeah, I have the same trait ... I relate to that ... along with her deep sensitivity ... yeah, that hooked me because I see myself. Dear Nancy tries to portray herself as tough and can handle all this b.s. stuff that comes from putting herself out there in the public eye ... but sometimes our critics nitpicking can get to us , no matter how we try to show the world that our female cajones can match and overcome that bullchit.

As I'm writing and thinking, I also believe the whole Bella-Haven concept is NOT over ... maybe it will be reborn as Bella-Haven, Version 2. Look at the help Nancy is currently getting. Lou is great ... so are you and Serenity! AND as many negative crazy thingys happening in this thread -- there are many other POSITIVE ideas, praise, love and support for Nancy!!

Yeah, lets give it time, let the trolls go elsewhere or beam them off with Positive White Light Energy ... and lets keep drinking coffee and giving positive ideas ....

For some people, throwing around fishbots and cans of spam is their way of "showin some luv", (as boring, repetitive, and uncreative, as that may be to read for people like me). I accept it for what it IS..."showin some love". For others, being "controversial" and "In Your Face" shall we say, is THEIR way of showin some luv. And I accept THAT for what it is TOO. The Big Explanation (<----inside joke lol) Point in the sky is chock full of Autumn and Halloween stuff. AAAAAAAnd so does Hobby Lobby. Now I bring this up to foster happier thoughts plus Autumn/Fall/Harvest is my favorite time of the year. That and it leads up to the best.......................Christmas!

Shares a loaf of Zuccini Bread my daughter gave me yesterday to go with our coffee. My daughter received a huge Zuccini at work that was too big to use any other way, so she had her neighbor bake it into Zuccini bread while she was at work

Well, you know, with our fun little chat room being demolished, and now this lovely thread being hit by the dark forces, I can see that being the last straw for Nancy. It hit me that way a bit when I came to relax and post here yesterday and saw the vitriol. That, on top of her not getting the Other Side of Midnight spot, and then Rose leaving the show, I can understand. Nancy deserves better things. Disappointments take their toll, even on us eternal optimists.

Keep in mind that "a bit" may be longer than tomorrow night. It may be a day, week or longer if at all. Give her time to de-compress and figure things out. It's a great show and when she sees all the support she has, maybe she will reconsider. If I have to open a forum and chat (private) here I will if that would help. Maybe she would do a weekly show and podcast recapping the past weeks MITD. Who knows what the future will bring. Maybe you and Ms_C will do a show. I for sure don't know. Life, and coffee will go on. But it would be better with Bella-Haven in it, but life will still go on.

As much as I would be honored to do so, I still don't have the right equipment (reliable software) or bandwidth to do so. Im not connected to her stream host and my voice drives cats into hiding lol. Not to mention that I work early Tuesday. Great idea though, but trust me, I would make a lousy radio host. That is one of the reasons I don't do a podcast of any sort. While I have many interests, I can only talk Ham Radio with any authority, and that my PTSD will only allow safely behind a Ham Radio mic talking to folks that are in my radio club or that don't know me at all. lmao. I do love the thought though. That is one of the reasons I have only talked to Art via ham radio and have not called in since I first discovered him many many moons ago.

Nobody here cares what you *sound* like serenity lol's. as for funding, see my above post, and as for work.......well......could you call in that you have to do a radio broadcast and might be late?
