All indications are that I survived my trip to the dentist. Clean teeth and a clean bill of oral health.

Chewing lots of bacon seems to be good for the teeth and gums. And doesn't appear to be affecting my blood pressure at all. Lowest reading in many, many years. This not going to a stressful job must be good for me.

Interesting.. I'm officially in violation of 'my' company's new dress code.  "Hair must be combed and not shaggy" LOL I actually pay people to write this crap. Have an appointment to get my "shaggy"  hair cut tomorrow.. Think I'll cancel it..

I didn't worry about it for many years being on relaxed grooming, but I looked forward to retiring so I could grow my hair long again and not worry about it,  and keep the beard. Funny thing was, when I retired, I didn't like the long hair anymore. *sigh* Still have the beard though. Trivia. When an officer gets promoted to O7 and above, they get to designate their own uniform. Few actually do it, guys like Emerson, Patton etc, but for the most part they keep to the dress of their service.

I am helping at a charity event this weekend and I need about 200 cups of coffee for guests (brewing it with a normal coffee pot over at the event space). How much coffee should I buy from Sam's Club?

I don't drink coffee, but I tackled it as a math problem.

The Folgers website has a calculator that says you need 12 cups and 8 tablespoons.

Looks like this will be the right size for me. I just noticed they wrote on the container how much coffee it makes (380 cups). The tub is about $12 at Sams Club.

I gave up coffee in September of 1997. Best thing I have ever done! Once you kick the habit, you realize you wake up in the morning you did as a child. Bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Jaromir Jagr has a coffee addiction. 10 cups a day and plays hockey. that's absurd.
