Our Astronomy club added filters to our telescopes for pictures and viewing. I lost the pictures during a hurricane aftermath.

BTW todays Bacon Fact: Bacon cubes were among the first foods eaten on the Moon on July 20, 1969. The meal was "“bacon squares, peaches, sugar cookie cubes, pineapple grapefruit drink and coffee” Since the other items were more desert like and bacon was already an in space favorite, you can imagine what was eaten first.

Cubes can be packed more efficiently in the limited storage of the Apollo command module, and especially the LEM.

Trivia: astronauts lose some of their sense of smell in space, so they crave spicy, sweet and sour. #1 on their list is tobasco.
