Now I want to pick up an old pawn-shop guitar and write a hoagie tribute tune while boiling my hobo soup.

Great idea! Be sure to include some yodeling in that and references to his glory days with Asimov, Cronkite and Sagan, et al.  ;)

If memory serves me correctly it was the RCL button.

...or the backspace arrow.  It's been nearly 30 years.   :-\

back arrow goes back a digit .. full clear is g + clx  ;)  .. i think that's intentional so you don't accidentally wipe out a long calc

Some go for several hundred bucks.  I'm still kicking myself for losing the original manuals which are hard to find and worth alot too.  Luckily they have pdf's online.  Then did come out with a re-release a few years ago but I think they discontinued.

Anyway enough of my calculator fanboy-ism, even if I only said a fraction of what I'd like to.

Not that kind.  I gave those up years ago.  My goal has been a cash only lifestyle.  As unrealistic as that my sound.
