Im not actually sure they have the capability to do those kind of tests and mine hasnt timed out or disconcted for Hoagland in over two weeks.
Well listen to the show. They either did it or Hoagland lied about it. I didn't make it up.

It is not hard to cancel all active connections. Block a port on the firewall for a few seconds and all will drop. Not sure how they did it, but Big Dick said it so it must be true.

Man, I wish you didn't post that clip.  Listening to it a second time just brings back the awful emotions I felt on Friday.

LOL!  Me too...just finished listening.  :P

Sorry to distress you. Unfortunately some have expressed an interest in knowing what was actually said. The clip is the best way to do that. I had to listen to it again while I assembled the clip and cannot say I enjoyed it much. But it is what it is.

Intried and it kept looping on ghe first 2 minutes or so. It didn't even get into the diatribe about useless eaters and bandwidth. Don't know how much you actually clipped, but it only went to the war of the worlds sentence and would start over.

Based on empirical evidence there have been disconnection(s). Quite possibly more that one.

Download it again.  The clip is good so your download must have been corrupted.

My subscription didn't run out until today, so I a tually have the whole episode. It is probably just because I am on my iphone and it popped up a palyer window in safari.

That's odd.  Grab the clip he posted here.  Maybe the archive was edited.

No. My archive is fine. It was the link he provided that kept looping on my iphone.

It's OK as long as it's not Dave.

Unless it is by "other means" or just for the yucks and laughs. One has to admit there is some comedy gold in them thar hills. Just don't give them the ratings or buy from their advertisers. And, certainly, don't listen to them instead of Art.

I just don't like Dave.  I don't care about the other show aside from Dave sucks. ;D

That's not gonna happen. C2C is just something to fall asleep to on Saturday and Sunday nights. Tonight's show sounded interesting enough to record, but in general I don't bother. When I do listen to Coast it is on a terrestrial radio station so they have no way of knowing I'm out there. Tonight's an exception - I had to fire up IHeart in order to record. Pretty sure they can tally that.

norland2424

All of guys need to download arts bells archive torrent instead of wasting bandwidth and dead ears on coast 2 coast..

Saltheart

3 hour video of JC calls on youtube, I have heard it a dozen times. Never seem to tire of it.

I understand, there are options. Not everyone gets there but there are people out there who care about you. When you hit rock bottom, they will be there.  ;) Kidding. Seriously, I like radio also so what is on is often on. But still, maybe....switch to your local classical station. Much better sleep and, actually, some good stuff. Aside from sports I think the only reason for my radio (besides shortwave, etc.)  ;)

File's a little bit big, isn't it? F'ing Comcast is metering our bandwidth use in this market now. Even with the video I stream I'm OK, but a 65GB file might do me in. I suppose I could d/l this file at the public library and suck up their bandwidth. Next time I'm near there I'll have to run a speed test and see how feasible that is.

The other thing one can do is listen to "The Very Best of Art Bell" on TuneIn. I do that on weekend nights well.

When Art returns to Saturday/Sunday this won't happen. Until then I'm stuck. I do like listening to something when I fall asleep at night and wake up in the AM with news on. I don't use an alarm. I have dogs for that - except for the many days I have to wake them up to get them go potty.

As I said, no offense. Maybe I suggest, not advising, and no legal or otherwise claims here, podcasts, downloads, or an alarm clock lest the dogs stop doing it (a cheap BigBen is my favorite, but must wind?) Depending on your likes there is SO much out there. I really like OTR (Old Time Radio) if not classical etc for the nighttime. If wanting to sleep and not AB and catch him as a Time Traveler. But also whitenoise, rain apps, there is lots of cool stuff to sleep. (Though vet them.)

I guess this is the new bitch and bully thread.  Honestly didn't hear anything too terribly bad.
