Mon/Tue Nov 10 â€" Oberon Zell

Oberon is the primary artist of The Mythic Images Collection, producing altar figurines and jewelry of Gods and Goddesses. He is the author of Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard, Companion for the Apprentice Wizard; Creating Circles & Ceremonies; A Wizard’s Bestiary; Green Egg Omelette; and The Wizard & The Witch. Oberon’s newest project is the Academy of Arcana in Santa Cruz, California. Opening soon, the Academy will be a museum and library of myth, magick and mysterie, and the first physical campus for the Grey School of Wizardry, offering classes and workshops, with a gift store of Curiosities.
I guess he's not good enough to teach at Hogwarts.

A real wizard huh?  So that's how R. is going to turn things around...have Pointy Hat cast a spell on us.

I do stand corrected...thought Rich and Scott would pull a random show out of the archives and play it backwards...another lesson in labeling.

Nevermind (hmmm..good name for an album). Just found it

I think it would be good radio if every 20 minutes Hoagland just started yelling "Wake up you assholes!!!" into the mic.

So I've heard. Actually that's pretty common for denizens of Key West. They're a little different there and some are a lot different. Talk about high strangeness...
but we are "lovable"

I suspect the Hammock in Key Largo is far more treacherous than the shed.

This is also Florida. I travel with dogs and "heavy" if you catch my drift.
I carry a Glock 17, its old school and dependable, actually we have VERY little crime in Key West, but then again i used to live in Chicago, the comparisons are stunning.

Glock 26G4 carry & Glock 23G4 in the car on road trips for Her Highness to try not to shoot me with if a shit storm breaks out. (She's actually good - former LEO.) Glocks are the best - utterly dependable and virtually no maintenance. You should clean a Glock about every tenth time you think about cleaning it.

Isn't it nice to live someplace where you can carry and not get shot vs. someplace where you cannot carry and are quite likely to get jacked up? I know the feeling - I moved to FL from NJ, via WI. (Very long and sordid story.)

I carry the 17 in my saddlebags when i travel on the Harley, My CCW is actually a S&W 59..fits nice in the shoulder holster.
Home protection..i have a damn arsenal.

If you have a CCW permit in FLA the question i always had is can i strap my Mossberg shotgun on my Harley in the open, i never got a clear answer on that from instructors OR law enforcement.

Arsenals are good. Particularly if you live alone or with a sane other.

I don't believe you can do this. FL is one of five states that do not allow open carry. That includes vehicles. If you have a weapon in a vehicle it cannot be in plain sight. If the shotgun/rifle was completely encased it might be OK. Just not as cool.

TX was another state that required weapons in a vehicle to be concealed. It's possible they may have fixed that. FL definitely has not.

I'm not a big believer in open carry. I live in Broward and people would be shitting themselves and trying to make problems for the law abiding carrier (read: ME) constantly, plus I would lose the benefit of surprise defense. There are too many shitheads around here to give that away.

I politely deferred and Ciardelo politely bought off.

The Germans that make those Glocks are polite people, capisce?

Had I wanted to be vulgar I would have stuck to English. English is the language of choice for vulgarians.

Ordered from Amazon, too. Mine says "shipping soon" and that it will arrive by 8pm tomorrow. That better be true.

Fair enough, but this IS a English forum.
