RCH doesn't use a "shallow comb" I read this as he uses a long tooth steel/copper comb.

Faraday cages are in no way radiation shields. They are RFI shields. Two totally different animals.

Right, RFI yes, atom sized particles no as they not only pass though your head but the earth as well. Faraday head shields are of limited use for space travel, I prefer Bell motorcycle helmets.
