Yes, but we usually swap jobs because of a better offer; not to be dumped on just after moving. RCH can be blamed for his naivity.

The Space Shuttle had 3 main engines, two orbital maneuvering engines and several Reaction Control System Jets. The Main engines were used to achieve orbit. The OMS engines were used for major on orbit manueber said and the RCS jets were used for minor changes and to rotate the orbiter onorbit. The OMS engines were fired to slow down and deorbit. The RCS jets were also used during entry to be able to manueber until the aero surfaces had enough atmosphere to be able to fly like a plane. <whew>
