I tried. Didn't last 30 seconds. Guess I will just go see if the latest episode of Orphan Black has been posted yet.

Night y'all.
Good night. Check out GetTv or GritTV etc they usually have some kind of Chuck Norris or Charles Bronson or The Duke vehicle on.  Sometimes one catches an obscure or movie that didn't get much play that turn out to be pretty good. Or just the usual ones that, although seen many times, are still kick ass good.

I'm calling it a night shortly.  I'm getting my house ready to go on the market this week and need to do repairs and clean the basement.

Hoagie ought to at least draw some triangles, squares and " = " signs on pieces of paper, hold them up to the microphone, and have the guest remote view them.  I mean, she's only 75 miles away.  Same time zone.
Some kind of remote viewed origami stunt would be awesome. Like Red Elk with his levitation. It could be "proved" on air in radio even!

I missed that. But, as someone often accused of "walls of text" or too much "stuff," I will defend various and sundry things like parentheses, run-on sentences (that really aren't) etc; and will duel over the benefit and use of the so-called "Oxford Comma."
I feel that we might hold similar views on writing, length of paragraphs, and grammar.

***This despite the fact that I do not always use it.. :)

Beware of spiders. I say this now seriously! I'm no longer doing that stuff in tshirts or shorts. Good luck on the sell and/or finding a new place. Hope you are on the upside of the deal.

Yeah, Hoagie is missing some good opportunities here.

I'm in the northeast so there are no dangerous critters.  That won't be true once I relocate.  Night all, it was nice to get out of the Falkie thread for an evening.

Too bad you did not warn Amy a little earlier.  :(

The most exciting thing to happen here today is a fire truck had a flat tire and was stranded in front of my house for 3 hours. Now a Hoagie dud.

We seem to agree on some things, and disagree on others- sometimes very much so. But there should be common ground-rules and order. I see the crap of "too much typing" or "grammar is racist," and so forth, is just another way for undermining of Western Civilization. We see this also in legal reckoning these days. Often no longer coherent or precedent based reasoning but total activism and redefinition of terms- indeed even WORDS are now suspect in UNIVERSITIES and LEGAL AREAS and whole things, like gender or words, are now verboten or being changed. I hear Canada is going to CRIMINALIZE if you use the wrong "gender" for somebody?

Dr. MD MD

The Cobain show is pretty interesting. I've moved on to that.

I'm going to set my alarm for 11:11 so that I can comment twice daily whatever I might be doing at the time...

I like it.  For me, it would be eating cereal, whether am or pm.

Yep.  It seems to be a dud.  Oh well.

Goodnight everybody!  :)  'Til next time.  8)

sounds like i have missed..nothing lol

Yeah I dropped out when I saw it was remote viewing.  It's one of those topics I just instantly lose interest in.  To make it worse, she's leaning towards the 'self-actualization awakening to your innate intuitive spirit' stuffs.  I think its a netflix nite for me.

Actually, it was her excuse that made me rethink the weird "rash" wound or whatever. I never went to doc or hospital but after so long the local pharmacist mentioned it looked like a bite. Then I saw Amy excuse/situation and googled and it looked like mine. No real pain at initial bite, situation in old garage hauling and boxing up stuff, location (TX,) and way wound went/looked- not the bad stuff but the initial signs. But not as bad as Amy's or the stuff where tissue really dies.. Never abscessed or whatever. And maybe wasn't. But? Looked liked it on WebMd etc. I claim strong constitution, keep high ABV and tobacco in blood stream, etc for beating spiders and general infections or disease. Ha. But now will wear more clothing when doing stuff in garages and attics.

Haha you do manage to pack a lot in there.  I'm pretty post-modern.  Rules count less than what you're trying to say.  But using rules, and which rules, says something too, as does not using them, whether intentionally or not.

TL;DR  8)

J/K.  I really have not paid much attention to the gender thing.  I know that I have a transgender woman working for me during the winters, and I do demand that the guys use proper pronouns.  I don't care what they do at home, but I do demand that they treat her with the same respect as anybody else.

That is a personal choice to keep the workplace respectful.  I would say that out of maybe 50 employees, I usually have two who are a problem.  The rest don't give a damn what she does... As for criminalize it?  I really hope not.  I hope that people are free to to what they want.  I hope that the two guys who have a problem continue to be pissed off and tell all of their friends what "he" did that day- just not in the workplace.

***Also, I have a huge problem with people who don't want a gender and want to be called "them" or "they" or some other such crap.  Language is descriptive and gender is a part of it.

=Schlyder=

ZZzzzzzzzzzzzz   had enough of this bunk.   braaaaps til tomorrow
