MV!  What the fuck, Chuck?  I was going to call David fucking Pulides and report you missing.  He could have done a book and a years worth of fuckall speculation over you.

So, not Trumpy-related, but this thread gets the most eyes, so here I will share the latest molten load of CT horseshit I've heard.  FEMA supposedly ordered 15,000 guillotines to deal with Obama's civilian enemies.

Ponder that.

What kind of knucklehead do you have to be to think such a thing is true?  How fearful and stupid?
Particularly when 5000 would do.  Even with a generous rate of 10% down for maintenance and sharpening at any given time you still have 4500 of them solving roughly 6 "problems" each per hour for Obama.  If you value your executioners and only want to operate them for an 8 hour shift each day it is still a good 200 000+ executions daily.  5 days a week (you don't want to have them execute on the Sabbath regardless of their religion for fear of upsetting the unions who got Obama elected in the first place) and you have 4 million executions per month.

Really, who is the idiot exaggerating the proven order of 5000 guillotines to 15 000?  That is simply sensationalism and poor media reporting.  I have seen proof that Obama considers 5000 of the efficient machines to be sufficient.

Since people's wives are fair game on Bellgab I wonder how often MV's wife gives it up for Kanye-nitwit and I wonder if she likes taking it in her ass since Kanye is just an ass-stud?

Obviously Kanye has his head up MV's ass and MV must be a real douche bag to be tolerating this crap so, fuck you too. Whattaya gonna do, ban me you fucking moron? What am I going to miss, your shit website and your douchebag radio-star wannabes?

Does she scream out Kanye-nitwits name when you're banging her MV? That shit turn you on?

Fucking asshole.
I am going to have to read further back in this thread to understand where this came from.  With my limited reading here, there appears to be a fairly major disconnect from a poster insulting your wife to your wondering if kanye screws MV's wife.  And really... Why Kanye- why not P. Diddy or even Mr.B himself? (Though I have no rational reason for my belief, I picture her as going for Mr.B... What do you say MV, he seems like a suave sex symbol?)

While one year's weather (or even a few years) should not necessarily be seen as a trend, with the increase in extreme weather events, including a record number of highs and lows in temperature and the increase around much of the world in droughts as well as desertification, decline in sea ice... anybody who does not believe in agw now is clearly a blithering idiot.

The entire globe is feeling the results of warming.  In the midEast temps were clocked at all time highs.  160 in some places.  A normal healthy person cannot live in temps of 130.  People are dying from the heat.  Fish are migrating northward.

Even most of those who stubbornly think that this is part of a 'normal' cycle admit that it is exacerbated by man's activities, so in either way, we can only win by taking measures to mitigate as much as we can.

I sure as fuck don't CornyCrow !! GLOBAL WARMING IS TOTAL BULLSHIT ! ! ! ! !

Global warming is NOT global warming, IT'S SOLAR SYSTEM WARMING ! ! !

Every fricken planet in the Solar System is heating up and experiencing dramatic climactic changes. If you think humanity is responsible for this, maybe we should have RCH requisition pictures from NASA showing the millions of SUV's on Mars, Pluto, & Jupiter. WAIT. Jupiter is a gas giant. I guess that means there are millions of petrol powered air-cars flying around heating up that planet eh?
Snark Snark DERP DERP.
One thing you will never hear on mainstream media is the crap that's going on w/ the sun. Why do you think the SOHO telescope was launched ??????? ???????? ?
Get it through your thick skulls - The entire solar system is heating up.

The amount humanity is contributing, while measurable, is miniscule compared to what the sun and Geo-engineering is doing.

Are you aware that weather warfare was banned for member countries by the Tri-lateral commission in 1969 ? In order to ban something implies that it exists. So yes, in a sense, we have been contributing to the problem if that ban is being ignored.

And here I hoped you might actually present some logical evidence to support your view.

Simply because a majority or the media is telling us something doesn't mean it is true or accurate. "Consensus" can be wrong, particularly if there is lots of money to be made and lots of budget, taxation, and regulatory reasons why governments and international agencies support the "warming." IF it were truly caused by human activity than why would data need to be constantly "readjusted" or manipulated, why would scientists discuss same in emails that were hacked, etc? And one can simply look at behavior: if carbon-footprint was so important why would these scientists, activists, and politicians fly huge jets and private limos to far-flung destinations over lavish dinners to discuss the warming? Why wouldn't they just video conference? Why are government buildings and universities (where this "consensus" works) air-conditioned (and usually cooler than a normal household does?)

I know this post is old but since Sandman brought it up in a recent post, I'd like to add something. The temps in the Middle East never went up to 160 degrees or even 130 for that matter.  These were heat index readings not actual temperatures.  The actual temperature was between 110 and 120 degrees.  Far from record temps.  I saw that story and on the headline, they were hyping the heat index readings to make you think that was the actual temperature.  If you read the actual story, you'll see that it was all about the heat index.

Our engineering department at UVic built an Engineering office building that was so energy efficient it didn't require heating.  Unfortunately for the mechanical engineering professors on the fifth floor, it became deathly hot in the summer and our University had a policy of no air conditioning due to environmental concerns over refrigerants.  Some universities and politicians are altruistic.  Many are not.

By the way, they measure the amount of energy from the Sun falling on the Earth, and solar variations aren't anything near enough to account for the rising global temperatures.  What we do see is that the Earth is rejecting less heat than it is absorbing, which so far as I can tell can only mean an imbalance of greenhouse gasses.  If everything was in equilibrium we'd be rejecting as much as we were taking in.

Don't be offended if I someone responds and I don't.   I get tired of arguing this stuff..

I don't take offense (at least I try not to do so) my issue with the "warming," or whatever is the official term now, is that it takes attention away from REAL issues that we actually can try to alleviate (heavy metal pollution, nuclear waste, over-fishing, proper forestry, better ways of mining and oil/gas extraction/transport, famine, oversight of Superfund sites, etc.) And because the proponents of the "warming" (sic) seem to have financial ties (or regulatory) interests in it and IF they really believed it they would "limit" their footprints- why fly everywhere to have conferences? Why have huge institutions (and huge, elaborate private homes and estates- often several and tell the "little people" not to drive their car) and so on....?

I don't believe oil company propaganda.  There are too many people on forums such as this who are paid to shill for them.   I'm not going to spend time bringing up points for you to knock down.  This is not a life study of mine.  If you want to fight, pick someone who has done the science.  The fact is that the VAST majority of climate scientists say this is true.  I'm not going to argue with them.  THey are not getting paid to say what they do as are the oil company shills.

Art mentioned he will have a guest on who will address this issue.  You might want to miss that episode because it will probably knock a hole in your spurious speculations.

Good.  You have lots of questions to call in when the occasion arises.  Our current politicians are not leaders.  They are paid for puppets for industry, on both sides of the aisle.  Climate change deniers have been caught being paid for by the fossil fuel industry.  They are proven to hire people to prowl forums with neat little folders showing studies of their cronies to 'prove' their side.  Ask yourself - which side has the most money behind it, which side seems the least partial and which side can buy expert opinions.

Gore can afford to have his house buried.  How big an investment do you think that is to his total wealth?  I know people with multiple homes.  Usually one of them is at the beach.  There are some people who hear about such things and go off the grid, spending a lot of money to be independent, and others who are just hoping a cataclysm does not happen in their lifetime.
