"A top New York Times editor decided the paper shouldn’t use the term “female genital mutilation” because the phrase is too “culturally loaded” and widens a divide between the Western world and “people who follow the rite.”  Health and Science editor Celia Dugger said she came to the conclusion to refer to the act of removing the female genitalia of young girls as “genital cutting” during a trip to Africa in the 1990s."

So we have been told that we need to accept terrorism ('new normal',) rape and sexual assault  ('cultural differences', they don't know it is wrong in our countries to not rape,) and now forced genital mutilation of little girls should not be called that because it is a "rite" in their "culture" and so we must be sensitive to the offenders?

Is this Michelle who used to call into Hoagie's show?  He's a self-identified she but got thrown out of a Japanese lesbian club for not having proper boobies or something.  There are some subtle nuances here I'm still learning.

I think either JJ or Norland posted a pic of Hoagland's Michelle. Fairly chunky human being if I remember correctly. Didn't look anything like the pic above.
