Update on the latest homosexual cake incident. As so often with "hate crimes" the whole thing, as many suspected, was a money-making hoax attempt. The homosexual pastor is, more or less, admitting that Whole Foods employees did nothing wrong and it was a hoax. He is dropping his lawsuit and has apologized. WF, in turn have withdrawn their lawsuit against him and his attorney. Sort of a shame since it would be nice for lawyers to learn a lesson on looking into the facts before taking these "hate crime" cases. But I can understand WF not wanting to waste money in court.

The SJWs must have been mighty worried indeed when one of their champions turned up missing during a morning bike ride.  But don't worry folks.  She's baaaack.

Obama and his henchmen have been talking about this for some years and implementing some policies but it looks like they are going to finalize it. So in addition to shipping unvetted Muslim "refugees" to towns across the land, "catch and releasing" illegals, even if they have criminal records, and ensuring the open-border remains now they are going to force tax-payers to pay for the housing (and even utilities) of poor "urban" people but, not just pay, per the current policy, but demand that they live in our decent neighborhoods. His invasion scheme is called “Small-Area Fair Market Rents” (SAFMR) and encourages "diversity" in neighborhoods. So the people that work so that their family can live in safe, nice areas must pay via Section 8 so those who won't, or can't, work, or at least not finding success at it, can live in their neighborhoods, and, ideally in Obama's mind, bring more crime to those areas and get some more revenge via the drop in property values and increased crime levels on what he called, as he did his own grandmother, "typical white people." (In his warped mind, single-minded as in is with his resentment towards the country and Western Civilization. In reality there people of many races, ethnicity, and religions in the good neighborhoods. The common feature is that they work and/or are wealthy and educated and less inclined to crime- at least violent street crime; Wall Street and white collar crime is another thread.  ;))

I've been living this. Well, along with the fire thing from a few posts above this quoted one. Not only can we not burn leaves, but they banned fireplace fires for being a fire hazard. We had a gas fireplace. Had to remove the guts and cap it off.

But the section 8 is downright nefarious. We were doing ok. Had the mortgage a couple 10k under the value of the home. Getting by. But we didn't pay attention. Our street and the next street over became eligible for section 8. The street changed. We noticed more violence. We hoped the police would take care of it. Things got worse. We pretended it wasn't happening. One day I look out and a kid across the street is yelling at a cop. "What you gunna do? Call my mom again? I'm 17 bitch! You can't do nothing! I ain't doing anything you say." The police were called because he flashed a gun at the mom of a girl who lived there. It started with some argument at school. Then she stabbed him. He came around with a gun. The cop was yelling at him to get his hands out of his hoodie and that's how he was yelling back.

There was lots of gunfire on the street for a little while. Stabbing. Lots of police cars. We went to talk to the police to see what was happening. The police were saying "These kids don't understand they don't have to act this way here! They are safe! They aren't downtown!" No, but one kid up the street still worked his way up to 18 felonies and the judge just won't put him away.

So, they brought in the gangs. Then they wait until the police are called. Then they send every car they can. Then they bill the home owner $500 per car. The people in the house barely get in trouble. The guy renting to them gets a bill for 6 or 7 grand each time the police are called. When he doesn't pay it they attach the property tax, then confiscate the home and property, then bulldoze the home. Now our street is a lot quieter. It's also a bit more airy with a dozen homes basically stolen and bulldozed.

We haven't borrowed any more on the mortgage but instead of being ahead we're 70 grand underwater.

Damn, it is worse than I thought! Sorry for your troubles. I remember several decades ago a relative telling me- if you ever have to rent out a place don't advertise it. Do word of mouth, friends of friends, folks from work, etc especially if it was a house on your property or worse attached to your house. Because once public you are liable to all these state and federal "rights" laws and might get forced to take in some creep (he, at the time, had 2 daughters and obviously wanted to vett renters.) Apparently this is now not just law but forced public policy. I hope your situation works out. Important to vote, especially locally and (depending on your situation) for sheriff, local school board, and councilmen as well as state offices. Because they can push-back, a bit, and/or try to fix things on the small scale.) I'm not sure why but it would seem this character Obama is really trying to "burn it all down" as his legacy in his last years. And this phenomena of turning civil fines into criminal ones and property seizures, or worse, is troubling. Especially when the problems are often caused by the government policy or lack of law enforcement (many places the cops won't even show up for property crimes unless there was violence involved. Simply: here's a form for your insurance.)

Your guys' stories is one of the main reason I've gotten into property investment over the last year. Having lived in cities all my life, I realize most people with means want to get out of the cities. Once you get out of the city, your brain clears a lot. You instinctively learn to tune out crime, police helicopters, crazy fucks and socialist bullshit as a means of survival. But once you don't have that around you all day every day, all of a sudden you wonder why all of that is necessary or happening in the first place? Retards will tell you equality but the real answer is corruption and greed.

I've been grabbing property in rural counties with liberal laws and the ability to telecommute for the coming white flight. Not only are these properties bad ass to have and hang out at but they pick up 6-11% in value a year not counting law changes or infrastructure development which can shoot up the profit anymore. Plus rural counties don't have the insane socialist bullshit or most of the problems the cities/burbs do. They're great safeguards again inflation since our government is doing everything they can to devalue money and fuck the middle class. There's likely going to be another recession soon when Obama's hocus pocus numbers go tits up, I'm hoping to grab two or three more properties during the chaos.

This country and it's leadership is evil but if you bet on corruption and greed, you'll win every time.

This has been litigated before, and from what I remember, Indiana was the last state to lose this battle. The federal government makes the states (all except 6) use the federal voter's registration form. The form does not require proof of citizenship.

Another case where the federal government and the courts have gotten it wrong in an attempt at building up the base for the Democratic Party.

This is why voter ID laws are so important. The bar is set too low for voter registration. You would think that a basic constitutional challenge under the "equal protection" clause would have solved this by now. As a citizen, each of us should have the protection of knowing that our vote is not negated by someone who is not a citizen.

Edit - it was Arizona, not Indiana.

It's a travesty.  One of the most important reasons why I could never support the Democratic Party or its candidates.

The House approved a Democratic proposal on Thursday to limit the display of the Confederate flag in national cemeteries.

A majority of Republicans rejected Rep. Jared Huffman's (D-Calif.) amendment to a spending bill for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and military construction projects in the 265-159 vote. A total of 158 Republicans opposed it, while 84 Republicans joined all but one Democrat in support. One lawmaker voted "present."

I detest the "2016 argument" and I think these people are idiots but believe it or not, I do support not flying the confederate flag on government property. Why would you fly a flag for a treasonous nation responsible for the death of tens of thousands of Americans on federal property?

The same argument could be held for the display of the US flag on Federal property, and likely is made in some leftist or immigrant circles.
It is illegal in some schools to have a US flag, lest our immigrant friends get offended and go on the attack.

Since I was raised a JW, I would stand outside of class when it was being performed. It was not done in Illinois after the 6th grade. Wow, I haven't thought about that in years...

My Godfather and his wife converted to Jehovah Witness. They used to tell my family that we were going to hell since we were Catholic. Good times.

In chaotic scene, Democrats chant ‘shame’ on House floor after switched votes

*The House defeated an amendment that would grant less religious freedoms and more support to the LGBT community

*When the clock ran out on the vote the amendment was approved, but then votes changed

*Democrats booed and chanted “shame” at Republicans after the amendment was defeated

God bless the gay community

Quotehttp://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2016-05-18/gay-gun-group-believes-its-dc-court-win-puts-homophobes-on-notice

>A group that advocates for gay Americans to carry firearms says its Tuesday victory in federal court against a restrictive concealed carry law in the nation’s capital is a twofold win for their cause.

>“It’s been almost an automatic assumption that gay people won’t fight back, that they’re passive, they’re weak,” she says. “We’re putting it out there that you don’t know which of the gay people out there are armed. ... Don’t attack gay people because that could be a really bad decision.”

>Pink Pistols was founded in 2000 and has many chapters across the country. Patton, a lesbian who lives in Pennsylvania, says there have been successes, including the education a Philadelphia member provided a group of pipe-carrying men following him.

>“One of them shouted, ‘Hey, faggot,’ and he turned around and pointed a .38 revolver at them. They dropped their pipes and ran,” she says. “This was the perfect case. He didn’t get hurt, they didn’t get hurt, and they learned a lesson that not every gay person is harmless.”

Liberals are super upset that this gay group is fighting for and advocating for gun rights. Then again, nothing shuts down a moron like a loaded pistol in their face.
