What are social justice warriors losing their shit about today?

I'm not trying to justify it, but if you go back far enough in time, hasn't every ethnic group been victimized by some other ethnic group?

Ahhh, reparations.

Because now BLM has a time machine, so they're going to go back in time and track the lineage of each individual slave- then track how many hours each person is owed compensation for, factor in interest/inflation, and divide it evenly upon their descendants. Should be fair. Right?
Hmmm, I think the Italians may owe me big time for the sins of their ancestors.  A nice Ferrari and a long term maintenance contract might suffice.

I'm waiting for some odd fundraising increase, weird bureaucratic SNAFU, or even some armed stand-off where Obama, of one of his's minions at some agency, see the letters BLM and instantly appropriates funds or goes into some rant or even sends Federal forces over some confusion over BLM, meaning the Bureau of Land Management and/or his Black Live Matter group. Then again, maybe they should be merged? Would help with reparations. Think the terrorists and agitators would be satisfied with '40 acres and a mule' somewhere out on our western Federally owned/occupied lands?

Not just ethnic groups.  Castro owes me big time for nationalizing my family's sugar farm.

Reading through some of BLM's demands...

Seriously if white people wrote this, wouldn't it come across like the most racist parody of blacks in modern media?

I think we can take him.

Ha!  I've been "pre-programmed."  That's what I usually think when I see "BLM."  Bureau of Land Managment.  At first, I was wondering why the Bureau of Land Management hated cops.

So people are bitching about the portrayal of Orientals and lack of Oriental actors in movies- even in movies that take place in foreign countries, like China. The latest outrage is some new Matt Damon movie about the Great Wall of China. They played clips of a stereotypical Japanese guy, brilliantly and hilariously played by Mickey Rooney, in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" for some reason. What does that performance decades ago have to do with casting in the millions of dollars in the latest CGI movies of today?

Same here.  I always felt kind of sorry for that diet candy company.  Sheesh.  They went out of business and the two weren't even spelled the same.

Ouch. Ha, I hadn't heard of that one. I also think "Bureau of Land Management" initially. Like ISIS, for awhile, I kept thinking Egyptian goddess.
I find the stories of pets not being adoptable and girls with it as a first name getting negative comments. I wonder if some uneducated people have threatened this newage book store? Or some old hippies getting slammed to the ground and house searched because they looked up "ISIS bookstore" on google?

Ha!  I hadn't thought about that diet candy in a LONG time.

Ugh don't even get me started on vocal fry.  Guys of the generation have similar annoying habits so it's not misogynyst to dislike upspeak & fry & other vocal mutilations.   For example when girls & guys say, "I feel like, So, & I mean" to start sentences, even when it's completely unnecessary.

It's so ubiquitous that it sometimes inadvertently seeps into my speech.  It's been several weeks since my last episode :D

SJW's are turning on Hispanics lol

That's the thing about SJW mentality - nobody is safe from it.  It is one of the most corrosive, bitter, jealous world views that have ever existed.

Imagine the advances we could make, if we put the whole nation on the Carmel-by-the-Sea economy.

The most bad ass flag in all of human history is now racist because it triggers feels.

Quote>The "Don't Tread on Me" Flag just got trod upon â€" by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
The EEOC is investigating whether the Revolutionary War-era Gadsden Flag could be considered a racist symbol in the workplace. In recent years, the yellow flag with its coiled snake has also become a symbol of the Tea Party.
“Whatever historic origins and meaning of the symbol, it also has since been sometimes interpreted to convey racially-tinged messages in some contexts,” the EEOC report states.
In 2014, a black government worker filed a complaint alleging he had been discriminated against by a coworker who wore a ball cap that bore an insignia of the Gadsden Flag.
The aggrieved government snowflake “found the cap to be racially offensive to African Americans because the flag was designed by Christopher Gadsden.”
The EEOC report goes on to identify Gadsden as a “slave trader & owner of slaves.”
The overly-sensitive employee “maintains that the Gadsden Flag is a ‘historical indicator of white resentment against blacks stemming largely from the Tea Party.”
The EEOC conducted a “thorough review” and found there was no evidence that the flag was created in a non-racial context.
“Moreover, it is clear that the flag and its slogan have been used to express various non-racial sentiments, such as when it is used in the modern Tea Party political movement, gun rights activism, patriotic displays, and by the military,” the EEOC report states.
You can almost feel the “but” coming, can’t you, good readers?
“However, whatever the historic origins and meanings of the symbol, it also has since been sometimes interpreted to convey racially-tinged messages in some contexts,” they declared.
The government’s ruling is going to open up a great big can of worms, folks. They are basically suggesting that if an item is used in a racially-tinged context or if a worker thinks something may be racist â€" it is therefore racist.

Wow, the low-self-esteem crowd is really bored these days. Pretty soon they'll tie the red and white stripes on the American flag to gay oppression or something because it'll remind them of Waldo and he's always having to hide. Or some shit.

Guh. Maybe I don't get it because I'm not part of the club. After all, social justice is "just-us" under the guise of being for everybody. Oh, the hypocrisy.

Their attempts to destroy and re-write history is absolutely disgusting. The Gadsden Flag is arguably one of the most purely American things in existence with the first American marines rocking it in 1775 and Benjamin Franklin anonymously writing about it. It has absolutely no link to racism in it's history. But since apparently dangerous white people like it, the flag is a problem now.

Why aren't they complaining about all the jet fuel burned to take people to the olympics?

Eh, don't confuse 'em with facts.  It's all about "feelings" and "good intent."  Plus, for the elitists, they get to do what they want, anyway.  Look at Leonardo DiStupio and Algore.  Dumb rules are for "the little people."
